Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Newbury

Great place, right on the lake. We were there for a ski trip but will definitely stay there in the summer to enjoy the lake!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and there was everything you needed. The space was great for 2 kids and 2 adults and our dog. Barbara was very accommodating to us for a couple things we had needed. We would definitely stay here again!

The cottage is quaint and charming. The exposed ceiling beams and peg-and-blank flooring shows the history of the old school house turned into a home. A record player is available with a stack of vinyl classics to play was a nice touch. I will recommend the host update the pictures in the listing to reflect the changes that have been made. The wood stove in the living room has been removed and replaced with an oddly arranged cabinet and television. The bath has some upgrades. The kitchen is functional and handled the simple meals we prepared. The best part was the back deck facing the valley. We sat and watched the fog roll in, and enjoyed the sunshine. I would recommend this place to get away from things.

Steve & Michele’s place was perfect for my friend’s reunion weekend. The house was perfect in every way. Literally no complaints. Steve and Michele were awesome. We can’t wait to come back during winter to see everything covered in snow. The hot tub and kitchen were definitely the highlight of the house. Very spacious and warm.

This house is absolutely gorgeous and also feels very relaxing at the same time. The views from the house of the lake literally take your breath away. Ewa is very responsive and kind. She accommodated us in ways she really didn't need to and we appreciated that so much. Wifi is great at this house, if you need to work or have meetings. However, you may have issues with reception (depending on your carrier) in the area so be sure to write down directions before going! Also the street is really just the driveway and it's not marked so be sure to follow GPS to know when you have arrived! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It's a great house for 2 families to stay together! And the basement with the pool table and ping pong - wow- what a bonus!!

This place is amazing. Clean, close to the slopes and super cosy. Host is the best we have dealt with. We got almost a foot of snow during our stay and the driveway was plowed first thing in the morning. We’ll be back😃

This is my second time staying at Hilary’s home, and for good reason! My family loved gathering by the fireplace everyday, using the hot tub and sauna, and cooking dinners for our group of 8 in the well equipped kitchen every night! Plenty of room for us to spread out. Also love how close it is to the town of Woodstock (adorable with great shopping!) Hilary is very responsive and I am sure we will be back for a 3rd time at some point.

We had a great time at David's place. There was plenty of space with a nice open concept with a great view of the lake. We went in the winter so we couldn't get down to the lake but it was beautiful to see. We would definitely recommend David's place.

Loved staying at Henniker Manor. Amenities listed were all included and area was clean and neat. Bedrooms were satisfactory and kitchen was large and clean as well. Host was very responsive and we enjoyed our stay at Henniker Manor!

My wife and I had the best experience at Mike and Susan’s beautiful home over Valentine’s Day weekend! Not only was it extremely cozy but they were so accommodating and let us check in early and told us not to rush out the day we were leaving due to a big snowstorm that happened on the night before we left. They were just a call or text away if you needed anything at all. Mike even offered to come help us if our truck got stuck on the roads that weren’t plowed yet. The Mountain View’s from the living room and bedroom were absolutely STUNNING! It was truly the most perfect relaxing getaway. Their house overall was beautiful and we will be back again! We have been to many different air bnbs in New Hampshire together over the last 10 years since New Hampshire has always been our home away from home and this one is by far one of our top favorites now ! Thank you again Mike and Susan for everything

Loved staying in Korene’s place. It was very comfortable, bright, and clean. Korene was very responsive and helpful. We felt right at home. I highly recommend the space and the host!!!

Perfect stay for us . We were able to ski as well as watch movies on the Roku tv during some windy , cold weather . Comfortable beds . Electric fireplace made the living area very cozy . We were able to visit family in the area and continue on to Ice Castles a bit north . We will be back when we can . Plenty of storage for bulky ski jackets and pants in coat closet . Didn’t use the washer and dryer but definitely would if we stayed longer . Thanks Tracy and Ryan . Ps very attentive snow removal during quite a storm. Also reached out to let us know they had some backup power ready to run the fridge and heat just incase. Super hosts indeed .

Great little place for a couple or a small family (at most 2 toddlers). Lots of stuff near by to everyone to do. The bedroom and the living room are a common room which was great for us because we all fell asleep at the same time after a fun and busy day!

This is what New England dreams are made of. Gorgeous wood, features, surroundings, etc. The beds were comfortable, it was very warm (we stayed here in the Fall), the property is beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the fireplace, access to our Netflix and Prime, the puzzles, and games. Fred's instructions were clear and easy to follow. His recommendations were great and we enjoyed the nearby towns. We talked often about how we want to return with more family members. It was so memorable and perfect for our party of 4, but there's enough space for 8.

We had a great stay! The hosts were so kind and communicative. The Airbnb is quite nice, very clean, and close to anything you’d want in Henniker. The town is so charming, and we had a blast skiing Pat’s Peak. We will definitely return!

A very cute basement apartment below a family home with plenty of space to explore. We had only stayed one night but would’ve felt comfortable staying longer in this lovely space. The hosts provided many snacks in a little welcome basket as well as ingredients to make breakfast sandwiches. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice retreat with a lovely space around them.
