“Our stay at JoJo and Phil’s was all we could have hoped for and more. The studio was so zen and exactly what we needed on our trip. They have an art table with some supplies and both of my daughters got to create some art. We did a private yoga session with JoJo outside which was incredible and healing. My girls also took a dip in the pool and played with their sweet dog, Piggy. The only downside was we only had one night and I wish we had more time because their Airbnb is the perfect place to refresh, recharge, and relax. Five stars and then some all the way! Can’t wait to return!”
COVID-19 RESPONSE: We have implemented many changes to keep you safe. Please see below for our new protocols. Our rustic River Houseboat is on the edge of the Pootatuck River on our lower pond, in close proximity to our beautiful stone barn. Please note that Sticks and Stones Farm is a drug and alcohol free property and we request that all of our guests respect and adhere to our policy. Thank you!
“Sticks and Stones Farm is a total delight. Quiet, on acres of hiking trails and an organic farm, the land was gorgeous, warm and inviting. I stayed in the Boathouse, close to the main Barn, and it was very peaceful and close to a small pond, where I spend hours writing and looking at baby ducks, turtles, and bullfrogs. The Boathouse itself was quaint, with tons of cross breeze, towels and water provided, and with a complete outdoor kitchen and BBQ. Hiking the trails was amazing. There are a few firepits, and lookouts. Also there is a labyrinth on the property and I walked it a few times. Very meditative. One of the perks was an outdoor shower. It was covered and private and clean, such a treat to have a shower in cool water on a warm day. I will definitely be back. Thanks Sticks and Stones!!!”
Quintessential New England experience, enjoy a two room suite inside a 200 year old mill surrounded by 40 acres of bucolic charm. Perfect weekend escape for those looking for a little serenity and relaxation.
“Our third time at this magical property and truly the best yet. Immaculate, well-outfitted home with glorious foliage surrounding a stunning granite pool filled with the cleanest, clearest water. Also alive with birds, including a blue heron that makes regular appearances in search of fish in the sweet brook that runs through the property. Beyond a field and walkable woodland completes this paradise. The interior is equally charming: comfy, cool bed and bedroom with a second room to watch tv, etc. Wonderful for sleep. The owners are charming and kind, and provided great dining suggestions to us. They are very respectful of your privacy, but respond immediately to any questions. This was the best coming-out-of-covid lockdown we could’ve hoped for and are already looking forward to our return. Can’t recommend highly enough!”
