Car is a must since no restaurants, shops, lifts are at walking distance. From Oct 2024 a resort fee (between 200 - 500 JPY/pers/night) will be requested and payable at checking.

Be away from resort madness, and chill in the forest after you ski. It is less than 10 minutes from Niseko Moiwa and Annupri. There is a bedroom with two single beds, room to roll out 2 futons in the lounge room and a loft that will take one or a happy couple. I work at a local mountain guiding company and am available if you have problems.

A well appointed chalet (2 bedrooms + loft) on the Hirafu village border with a view of Mt. Yotei. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedroom 2 has a double bed while the loft space consists of two single beds. A fully equipped kitchen, WIFI are standard, as well as a washer and a dryer. Alpen Retreat offers excellent value and is a great base for any holiday. There is a TV with an HDMI cable for screening Netflix's etc (no local or cable TV). It is a very quiet place surrounded by nature. A BBQ space in front of the river in the backyard is available for bonfires and wood-chopping. Hammocks and swings are available for guests with children. Located just a few minutes drive to Noboribetsu Onsen district, you can enjoy many day-trip hot springs. There is a convenience store within walking distance. We recommend staying at least 2 nights and driving. Travel by bus or cab is inconvenient.
