In bad weather, the kitchen and the large living room offer enough space to make yourself comfortable. The whole ground floor is barrier-free and wheelchair accessible, including the bathroom.

In the enchanting Warfendorf Pilsum, about five minutes from the Pilsum lighthouse, is the apartment Teyhörn in the Pilsumer farm. The building dates back to 1551 and is considered one of the oldest buildings in Pilsum. Directly in Pilsum there is a restaurant and café, approx. 2 minutes' walk. A small village shop is also located about 2 minutes' walk. Here you can buy rolls and other items. The harbor town of Greetsiel is just under 5 minutes away.

It is located in the quiet village of Loquard. It is about 2 km to the dike edge, 1 km to the baker (Rysum), 11 km to other shopping (Pewsum) or 12 km (Emden) The Tidehuus is a good starting point for extensive bike tours in East Frisia.
