Welcome to our stylish and modern apartment in Schmatzfeld, 5 km from Wernigerode, the colorful town on the Harz. In addition to a quiet location, you can also enjoy the quick connection to the A36 to discover the region with its numerous cultural and hiking opportunities. Furthermore, Schmatzfeld is equipped with bike paths in all directions. It is a paradise for cycling enthusiasts. Long leisurely walks are also possible on the surrounding dirt roads.

Kalles vacation home

Right on the Harz in the small village of Veckenstedt, is our lovingly and comfortably furnished vacation home for up to ten people. In 2018, we decided to renovate a large part of the building and convert it into a vacation home. The renovation was completed in mid-2020. Our country market and bakery are within walking distance (5 minutes). Ample parking space is available for cars. For motorcycles, there is also a covered and lockable area.

My "little hut" is located in the beautiful village of Stapelburg in the Harz Mountains between Wernigerode and Bad Harzburg/Goslar. Last year, a real gem with a lot of love for detail emerged from a "junk shed." My place is on a quiet side street, and parking is available right in front of the house. The "Schüppchen" is hidden behind my house and is accessible via a comfortable external staircase.

Enjoy the sounds of nature as you stay at this special place. In the cozy yurt there is a 1.40 m double bed and a single bed. There is a toilet and shower (of course with warm water!) in the sanitary area on the property. A sauna with wood-burning stove and panoramic views of the river is also at the disposal of all guests. There are many hiking trails and interesting sights to visit nearby.
