Kid-friendly vacation rentals in North Bay

Paula made our stay amazing again! The fire was going and the place was toasty warm. We were lucky enough to be there while the goats were having their babies and Paula let all 5 kids stay out with her for hours. We all had an amazing peaceful weekend. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at this location. The place was in meticulous condition and we much preferred it to any hotel/motel in the surrounding area. We had a small hiccup finding the place because there are 2 separate sections of this street but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable!

Kim was really communicative and good about making sure we had everything we needed for the weekend. Easily reached, easy to work with. We spent the weekend fishing/snowmobiling and the location was very good for access to Lake Nipissing. Fishing is always good on the South Shore. Space was spacious, clean, multiple bedrooms. Kitchen well stocked. Everything you need.

This was an amazing stay for us, we used this location to get ready for a wedding! I'd reccomend this spot to any of my friends! Johanna was very responsive and we felt right at home the whole stay

This wasn't my first time at an Airbnb but my first time renting one out under my name, and I've never been happier after renting an Airbnb. Joan's home is exceptional and has the most beautiful views. She was very responsive and made sure we had a fantastic stay. The house was spotless and was super clean upon arrival. If anybody is looking for a beautiful getaway for a night or however long, I highly recommend Joan's home.

Amazing Place and Great Times! Very Well Maintained!

This Lake Nipissing rental was very much what we were looking for to do an ice fishing outing for 6 mostly retired guys – it was almost directly in from Lonely Island (about 1.5k walk). The actual cottage is very large, and it was nice having 2 ½ baths. The kitchen is very big with a huge island that also works as a pub height dinning area and there are tons of cabinets with all of the kitchen utensils/accessories you’ll need to make great meals. There are a few rough areas, which comes from a lot of use (e.g., trim work, a few chips, dents and worn chairs, shower heads, etc.), but for a northern cottage rental I would say it would be 4 to 4.5 stars and for an ice fishing choice I must give it 5 stars. I will very much consider this location again if we decide to do another ice fishing trip to this location again in the future and if you were doing a non-winter trip, I’m sure this location would be a perfect area with boat access and placement on the water for a large family outing.

This farmhouse is absolutely beautiful ! Bill (property manager) was conveniently on site when one of the couples from our group arrived and went through everything and answered any questions we had. Located right off the OFSC trails, close to the scenic ice caves, and with use of heated garage for snowmobiles made our weekend very relaxing after a day of riding the local trails. Our group of 8 had tons of space to relax and unwind. I couldn't imagine staying at this property in the summer and not being able to find something to do.

Hannah’s granny flat was lovely. Well appointed furniture, comfy bed, and clean. It is located away from the city and is in a peaceful location. If your travel does not require a full kitchen, then this place is great. As a family, we enjoy cooking large meals while on vacation over several days, so if that is what you are looking for, this place may not be for you. If you need a nice clean place to lay your head in a country setting with nice people, this is it. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great place for a few friends to get together.

Stellar place - super clean, extremely well equipped, and just an amazing beachfront property.

My second time staying at Daniel’s place. Once again it was such a great spot. Daniel is a great host very responsive and proactive. It was nice to meet Daniel on my arrival. Had some nice local recommendations for dinner as well as hiking. The apartment/cabin was very clean and very comfortable and cozy. Nice to have the deck to over see the lake. I highly recommend Daniel’s place. The experience was an all round pleasure once again. Thank you for Hosting me Daniel. I hope to be back soon. John

Where would I even begin? This was by far the best experience I’ve had. The unit exceeded expectations, it really did make you feel at home from the moment you walked in. It is honestly so nice, zero complaints. The host’s were absolutely amazing. They were so responsive to any need I had no matter how big or small, and made everything just so comfortable. I don’t think I’ll ever come across a group quite like them again. I would highly recommend this unit and any other unit listed under the host’s. They made being away from home and the struggles of daily life feel effortless. I am grateful for all they did and accommodated for me. As I said, best experience I’ve had by far.
