Sameera was a wonderful host! He did a very good job together with his friends who came to help him in the kitchen. Always nice food and a fresh juice, whenever you need it. (for a fair price) The room was clean, had a working fan and a moscito net... so basically all we needed. The charming house with it's little garden is perfect to hang around and get to know other travellers! Daytrips e. g. to Pigon Island were organized by e friend of Sameera who came in the evening to discuss the prices and everything. We highly recommend this place and wish Sameera all the best with the plans he has in mind for his guesthouse/restaurant

We really liked the place. Everything was very clean and was cleaned regularly. Especially the outdoor bathroom with the unique shower was the highlight. Within walking distance are many restaurants, a few shops and the beach. Rizvi also provided us with recommendations for things to do in the area. Communication was hassle-free. Any time again.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this villa is an absolute gem! Tucked away in a quiet area near a natural hot water spring, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The garden is beautifully maintained, the rooms are super spacious, and there’s even a swimming pool to cool off in – what more could you ask for? But what really makes this place special is the incredible hospitality from the caretakers, Balan and Pradeep. These two are absolute stars – so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything you need. They go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and well taken care of, which makes the whole experience feel even more like home. And the food? Absolutely delicious! Balan and Pradeep whip up the most amazing Sri Lankan dishes, full of authentic flavour and made with so much love. Every meal feels like a feast, and trust me, you won’t go hungry here! Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay – peaceful, comfortable, and run by lovely people.

Where do I start? We arrived and were struck by the beautiful pool and gardens. The apartment is stunning - palacial in size! The photos don’t do it justice and the huge balcony offers stunning views of the garden, pool and beach. It was honestly the best apartment we’ve ever stayed in. The condo manager was also friendly and helpful with any queries we had. We had planned to visit Trinco but decided to make the most of the apartment and beach to relax. The balcony offers the perfect location to capture the awesome sunrise over the ocean. We used a local company (Pigeon Island Tours) to visit Pigeon Island for a snorkel safari - amazing sea life! We could have stayed longer but regretfully had to continue our adventure of this beautiful country. The apartment was a 10/10! Thank you Nalinda.

Great and lovely place right at beach

Both hosts and mothers are very welcoming and friendly!We loved that their😊 home was elegant and quiet, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious!There are often many lovely wildlife in the yard for us to watch, so I stayed two more days😀 thanks to Mr. Lahiru and his kind mother🙏

Great accommodation with great staff. the view from our room was breathtaking capturing lions rock across some rice paddie fields only 1km away.

Thank you for the great stay. We had a wonderful time at Chathurika. The accommodation has a fantastic location by the lake. We were able to observe a lot of birds and animals. The room was super clean & beautifully decorated. We felt very comfortable throughout the house and were able to relax very well. There are many attractions to explore nearby. The food was delicious & we had the best tuna on our trip. Big recommendation. The entire team was super friendly & helpful. We would love to come back again :-)
