Nearby historical and hiking destinations include Rukajärventie, Änäkäinen, jongun river, bear trail, and recreational fishing and hiking area. ask for autumn weekends with a message, they are negotiable even though they are provisionally closed for your own use. At freezing time, there's no possibility of running water.

In winter, you can access the ski slope from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski slopes of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, the city's services are available a few kilometers away.

Alapiha Arboretum Guesthouse and Sauna

Cozy guesthouse and sauna in a wild tree sport park. The area has about 250 different varieties of woody trees and shrubs on two acres. The tree was planted in 1970 and forms its own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is partly still in a natural state and the area is undergoing renovation. Basic principle was to have a place to calm down but also a house for remote work in home village. Place is pretty nice on top of the hill, scenery is wide almost all over ... tens of kilometers. Welcome to relax in the sauna room in our yard, by the lake! Although a small, stylish sauna is part of our inhabited courtyard, you will find peace, nature, privacy and wonderful scenery here. The place is also great for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Rowing boat and SUP board available. Bring your own linens and towels. If necessary, however, linen can be arranged at the accommodation.

Cozy and spacious one-bedroom apartment near the center of Joensuu in the immediate vicinity of key services. Joensuu Arena and other sports halls, Linnunlahti, and downtown services are all just a few hundred meters walk away! I provide towels, bedding, and detergents, and cooking basics. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, freezer, etc. You also have a washing machine, hair dryer, fan and 55-inch TV.

Kuohu - sauna cottage on the shore of a rapid

The spark is atmospheric, a warm sauna cottage that was completed in 2015 by the small river. In the noise of the water you can relax in the sauna, barbeque, or in the flame of the outdoor fire. The cottage is located on a small sand road, in complete privacy. Koli National Park is about 30 min drive away, Höytiäinen beach is just over 2 km away. We have canoes for rent and lunch packages with local products available.
