Vacation rentals in North Western Province

Never in my over-5-years of experiencing being hosted on Airbnb have I encountered a host that was as open and welcoming as Krish. From the second we arrived ‘till the moment we left Krish was there to help, guide and advise us on what to do, where to go and played a huge part in why we think this stay was the highlight of our two week trip through most areas of Sri Lanka. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. His family is also very nice and welcoming. If you want a once in a lifetime experience then definitely give this a chance, you won’t regret it!

We had a lovely stay at Sea Sand! If we didn’t have to leave we would probably have extended our stay because we felt so comfortable. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The food was also great! Extra plus are Sabina’s three extra cute dogs! Thanks for having us :)

I highly recommend Aaryya’s home stay. I booked last minute for one night visit to Anuradhapura and was surprised to see such a beautiful home still available. Aaryya kindly accommodated the short notice booking and welcomed me with a big smile, kindness and generosity. It was my first time experiencing a home stay and due to the positive experience I booked more during my tour of Sri Lanka. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Aaryya’s warmth made me feel like I was visiting family. The room is large, clean and perfect for a short stay. Breakfast was plentiful and consisted of local homemade delights. An early request for breakfast was greatly appreciated. Thank you Aaryya for a positive experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Kuliyapitiya! It was a 5-star experience all the way. The place was impeccably clean and tidy, and the level of privacy was just what we were looking for. The inclusion of two bedrooms, each equipped with AC, was a delightful surprise. We had all the amenities and essentials we needed, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place to start and/or end your trip to Sri Lanka. Don will pick you up from Colombo airport (about an hour and 15 minutes ride) and he's a safe driver. The villa lies in a rural area, very green and nice & quiet. Don is super friendly, helpful and a good laugh. We've had more than one lovely meal here. Also a 'high' tea in the watch tower overlooking the sunset over the rice fields. Bicycles are at your disposal to explore the surrounding area. Communication went very easy and Don reacts quickly to all your messages. All in all, staying here was a great experience and we highly recommend it!

This was by far my best Air BnB experience.. Very homely and welcoming host, and the place and staff make you feel like you're in your own home.. Clean place with great historical architecture and furniture and over set up.. Innoka served some awesome home made food.. and the property being spacious there was a lot to do like take walks.. swim in a clean and well maintained pool or spend time with the pets that themselves are so warm and welcoming to guests.. Janaka is a very warm and kind host and ensures that all guests are comfortable at all times. He's also an experienced global traveller so can spend hours talking to him abt culture and philosophy. Absolute no brainer from a place and cost and amenities perspective, this hld be your preferred place to stay when in Sri Lanka.

Wow, what a hidden treasure. Arjuna and Zane made our stay so comfortable and restful, always willing to talk about the surrounds, tea plantation and beautiful gardens, but also hands-off enough that we felt relaxed. We intended to do some hiking but the weather meant options were limited, but that just meant spending more time in gorgeous surroundings learning about local plants and their uses, hanging out with their 4 brilliant and ultra friendly dogs, and eating lovely local dishes. A small village is just 15 mins walk away, which has some shops for essentials and lunch items. If you’re after a beautiful, restful place for a short break then I really couldn’t recommend Tranquility enough. It was an absolute treat and brilliant value for money.

Gaya‘s place is stunning! The lush garden and pool are perfect to relax. The rooms are beautifully designed with an eye for detail. Gaya and her team are very welcoming and friendly, the made me feel at home. Can 100% recommend this place, do not miss!
