Lovely nights stay, the lodge was spotless clean and had everything we needed. Slippers, robes and the goodies left were a wonderful bonus. Will definitely be back!

this stay was perfect. the drive past Barnard castle is beautiful with loads of little cafes/pubs/shops ect in the village. On arrival it was super easy to check in and everything we needed was provided. host Julia was so friendly and responsive and made both me and my partner feel so welcome. will be back again!

Amazing break away. Peaceful setting, stunning views. A great place to switch off and relax. Nick was a great host from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend the breakfast box.

My family and I stayed Monday to Friday, fabulous site, the lodge was perfect for us and the staff really helpful. Lovely stay.

This place is exactly as described and as per the photos. We had to check in a little later due to a family emergency but it was no problem at all. The lodge was clean and fully equipped with everything needed for a stay. The hot tub was amazing and Donna was really friendly and recommended some great places to visit. A great place to stay and highly recommended!

Sandra's place was perfect for our short stay in Yorkshire. We particularly enjoyed the outside space and seeing the ducks.

Denise was extremely helpful and approachable. She took the time to send a few messages to ensure we were clear on check in. Denise welcomed us and showed us to the lodge. The lodge was super clean, well equipped and Denise even supplied the basic condiments, tea, coffee, juice, milk with some welcome biscuits thrown in! The lodge was also dog friendly. The kids loved their bed room and we were all very comfortable. We had a great stay and the lodge more than met our needs. We plan to return.

Booked this as a bit of last minute R & R for my family to end our Easter holidays. From the start Chas was friendly & very helpful providing fabulous food when we arrived. There was open space for our children to play & for us to unwind, the cabin is so cosy & everyone slept so well. The family were on hand to help when we needed, we will most definitely return here!

We've just returned from a short stay at my happy hounds. Our glamping pod Hugo was absolutely perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless considering these are dog friendly. The welcome pack was also a nice touch with all quality items. We have 2 dogs one that is very nervous, he settled in well as it was peaceful and private and having ample space for them to run and play at the pod and the secure dog fields, these are a great facility for anyone traveling with a dog. It's only a short drive to find local amenities and finding my happy hounds was easy with Google maps being accurate. The communication from Harry was excellent with plenty of information and help if needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already started talking of booking again for the future. Lovely pod, everything you need. Very clean and stylish. Beds are pull out, apart from the ones upstairs. They were very comfortable and we had a great sleep. The shower was amazing… hot & powerful, especially after being out walking all day. Wi-Fi is good, even has sound system & smart TV. Located at the back of the park, quiet and secluded. The park is well maintained & the foods very good in the restaurant. All Staff we came across, were very friendly and helpful. I brought my Nan back for her 80th, as she use to stay at Hollins Farm seasonally many years ago. It was a trip up memory lane. Plenty of places to walk, especially the hill at the back of Hollins farm. The views are still very impressive to this day. Silverdale is just a little Gem, the gift that keeps on giving. Will definitely be returning.

Booked this stay as a last minute get away and we absolutely loved it, the pod is great and it has a gate to keep your dog inside! Toilet and shower rooms are spotless. The fishing lakes are lovely, Adele is great and is everything you look for in a host. Had a fantastic time and will be rebooking as soon as I’ve posted this review!

Just returned from a lovely weekend in the lodge. The lodge was very cosy, lovely log burner. Private and peaceful location. All amenities provided. Would definitely return.

Great stay at the Lookout Lodge! Jo was always on hand to provide help and the facilities have everything you need. Brilliant views and a relaxing time had! Will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends!

The place is a lot bigger than on the photos. The secluded garden was brilliant for my dog and the big field opposite was an added bonus to walk him. It is very peaceful and I would definitely book it again. Gabby was very quick in replying, when we got lost and needed fire-lighters for the log burner.

We came to stay here for a relaxing weekend away and it did not disappoint! The area is idyllic and the cabin is beautiful; the cosy log burner, the rustic features and ample amenities. The fridge was fully stocked ready for breakfast and we had lots of options for drinks. Spud the cat came to visit us on many occasions to make us feel welcome. We have already recommended this hidden gem to many family and friends and we will surely be back!

Booked this stay as a surprise for my fiancé for our anniversary. We absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone. Such a beautiful cabin that enabled us to feel relaxed and enjoy the peaceful environment. The host was very helpful when responding to messages and gave very clear instructions on how to find the place. There was a folder inside the cabin that listed some walking routes which were very close by and the walks themselves were very nice.

Peter's place was spotless! he is an awesome host and even helped us set up a barbecue. the place is exactly as advertised and we loved the vibes!

The property offered so much to do—we loved having barbecues at the outdoor stove, feeding the swans by the lake, playing darts, and relaxing by the fireplaces while soaking in the breathtaking lakeside views. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and it was clear that Nicola takes great pride in creating a perfect guest experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and enjoy ourselves. Nicola’s hospitality and the incredible amenities made this stay unforgettable. Home from home, Met Suzanne's husband who showed me the Quirky Cabin, All instructions were precise. who could want for more. My stay was very relaxing, the cabin compact and comfortable, even a little heater in case it got cold at night. Suzanne looks after dogs, but they were no trouble. She also gave me a phone numbers for a reliable taxi company, they were good, and only a 5.00 each way to the Bridlington Spar. I felt very much at home at Quirky Cabin. Keep up the good work Suzanne. If I'm coming over that way again I shall certainly be booking there again.

Cosy little cabin that felt peaceful, relaxing, even though it’s close to the house and a road it felt very private thanks to the heavy planting around the cabin. It had everything we needed, and we were really comfortable throughout our stay. Matthew was friendly and responsive, and we really appreciated all the tips for local walks and places to eat – even if we didn’t get to try them this time. We spent a lovely day at Sizergh Castle, which is just a short drive away – would definitely recommend!
