Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Northeastern United States

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Mark’s Airbnb! The home is newly remodeled with beautiful furnishings and all of the beds were very comfortable. Our daughter was graduating from college so we chose to stay in an Airbnb over a hotel so my in-laws could stay with us as well. It worked out perfect and we especially loved the kitchen.

We loved Alan and Alexis’ place. It was a great location to stay while visiting our wedding venue and exploring Newport and Narragansett with our moms. Couldn’t have been more pleased!

We loved this house. It’s so clean, cozy, and comfortable. It’s nicer than the photos! The hostess was lovely and thoughtful. We had plenty of towels laid out for us and the kitchen was well stocked. Our kids loved the toys! If we come back to Youngstown we will definitely be staying here again.

Tyler's place was perfect for our stay with our extended family. It's spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax indoors and out. It has a very nice large porch and deck, great for some solitude or for kids to play. The beds were comfy and the linens ample, there are gorgeous large bathrooms and luxurious showers, the kitchen was well-stocked and included an amazing high-end stove, and the living spaces are nicely decorated and furnished with art and tons of books. One bedroom had lots of toys and kids' books, a very nice touch. Tyler was helpful, accommodating, and responsive. The location is very convenient to Arlington National Cemetery and within walking distance to a Metro stop. Everything about this rental was fantastic--we highly recommend it if you need a lovely space for a large group. Thanks, Tyler!

Overall a very good place. It was located near our destinations during a weekend east of Toronto.

Had a great weekend stay here while attending open house at SUNY Plattsburgh. 3 bedrooms were great and provided enough room for 2 teenage boys to have their own spaces. Host provided suggestions for places to eat and visit. Was able to get in walk around neighborhood and see lake view, despite rain most of our stay. Short drive to downtown; grocery stores and other amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I had a great stay at Courtney‘s Airbnb. We found the home to be very comfortable and in a great location close to some coffee shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was very walkable. The home was also very well appointed and we had more than what we needed in terms of amenities. I would absolutely recommend.

This was our 2nd stay here...a wonderful home base when visiting DC! Colorful, cozy, sparkling clean & spacious...we enjoy comfortably relaxing in a convenient city location. Sam is a friendly, generous, helpful host! He and his family live upstairs in this fun, modern building; the apartment is on the ground floor/daylight basement, but the house sits on a steep hill so the unit has plenty of natural light and does not feel like a basement. The separate entrance is located at the far end of the structure so it feels like a standalone unit with plenty of privacy. The neighborhood rises steeply from downtown Woodstock, up narrow, steep, windy roads. The streets were pretty consistently plowed, but drive slowly and cautiously, especially with snow. Also, like Sam says, don't just enter the address into Google Maps; it will try to take you elsewhere through someone's house and yard (haha!) Instead, follow Sam's directions. We loved the casual, yet carefully curated decor and found the bedroom super cozy with the most comfortable bed and linens. Our favorite was going on a cross-country ski adventure right out the back! Lovely place. Host was very nice and the house was lovely. the apartment is in walking distance of a bus stop. Very clean and well taken care of. would 100 percent stay here again!

Excellent place to stay

My family and I had an excellent stay at Peter's place. The apartment was very clean and homey. The neighborhood was convenient- close to the subway, stores, restaurants, parks, and to the start/finish line of the half marathon we were in town for. The hosts were helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay at his place in the future!

Wife and I had a great time at Fairley’s place. Condo was as advertised, clean with all the utensils you need. The resort has a clubhouse with all great amenities. Location is great! We would definitely like to rent again.

A very nice apartment, central, the beds are very comfortable and covers all your needs. Additional hosts are extremely pending.

This condo is very clean and nicely equipped. We had no problems, locating it and certainly felt safe and had no problems. There is a diner right next to it which is within walkable distance. The beach and Boardwalk are about a 10 minute drive with traffic. A walk to these areas would be relatively long but you could potentially ride a bike. Certainly would stay here again.

Franco and his team are lovely to deal with. They are extremely communicative and in a timely manner. The apartment is exactly “like” the pictures shown, warm, cozy and overall a very welcoming home. In addition, to having such a wonderful place to stay in, they have thought of every kitchen tool you may need during your stay, it’s great to have access to all these accessories. Thank you for the great stay, I would definitely recommend your place to anyone staying in the area.

The condo was very clean and updated. It was exactly as described/shown in the pictures with an amazing view. Location is in a nice quiet area and has the supermarket/restaurants right down the road. Roger was very responsive and the check in and out process was very easy with the instructions he provided. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to staying here again!

We had a great day! The place was perfect for our small group, and very convenient to the mountains for skiing. The condo had all the little things needed. And it was very comfortable. I would definitely book again.

Ricky’s place was amazing! Fabulous location just a 10 minute drive from the Franconia Loop Trail (where we hiked). Big studio apartment with a full kitchen & bathroom. Very cute woodsy decor inside & there is a lovely common area in the apartment with board games & and a fire for after dinner activities! We had such a great time!

We have stayed here quite and few times and it is one of our favorites. Perfect location to go between Lewes and Rehoboth. The place is so cozy and comfortable and has everything we need. Rhodi is very responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay again!
