Townhome vacation rentals in Northern Territory

Great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Carolyn was friendly and responsive.

Mark and Amanda were super-clear communicators both before and during our stay. They welcomed us warmly and were extra helpful and generous when we asked for an extra mattress and linen to accommodate my other daughter for a couple of nights. The layout and furnishings of the rooms were comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, and the use of laundry facilities and an outdoor pool was a huge bonus, along with aircon and ceiling fans the living area and bedroom. It was great to stay on the edge of town and in rural/bush surrounds but only ten minutes drive from the airport and another ten minutes to the centre of town. All in all, an ideal place to stay in a beautiful and fascinating part of the world, despite the enormous social challenges faced by the local community.

Stewie and Amanda are extremely accommodating hosts. They had excellent communication and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property was lovely, such a great location and so well equipped. All the extra touches like having breakfast available and washing facilities were a great help. We had a team of athletes stay for a race event and they were very well looked after and extremely comfortable at this property. Thank you Stewie and Amanda for being amazing hosts, we would love to stay here again.

Haven on Heath is a large, quiet home on a beautiful three acre rural property just south of Alice Springs. It was very peaceful with a well treed, shady garden. The pond, swimming pool and tennis court are added bonuses. The accommodation is huge, with a full kitchen, large lounge room, heaps of outdoor sitting areas and great bedrooms and bathrooms, including an en-suite. It would easily accommodate a family or more. I only stayed for a few nights as part of a work trip, but I looked forward to coming home and a quiet sit outdoors each night after work. Amanda was a very friendly host who is extremely knowledgeable about the area. I highly recommend Haven on Heath.

The town house had a lovely relaxing feel about it. The tropical back yard was lovely, and there was plenty of room to sit and relax with my dogs. The neighbourhood was friendly and quiet. Lots of parks, with lagoons to walk in. Shopping centres and food outlets close by. I really enjoyed my walks, and coffee shop stops in the mornings. The suburb is beautiful, peaceful, and very safe to walk around.

A beautiful house and the host was really generous with amenities such as laundry detergent, kitchen spray, hand wash etc which is always greatly appreciated, especially when staying for a week. The host communication was fantastic, (although some of the automated emails could be construed as a bit rude and pushy), however the only small disappointment was the pool which appears to be a little larger from the photos but in reality is quite small.

Second stay here in this lovely home. Close to everything we needed to be in Darwin. Quiet and really lovely surrounds to wake up to and to fall asleep with. Really great spot.

The accommodation was well located within walking distance of shops and the esplanade walking track along the bay. There is a bus stop 5 minutes walk away that takes you into town which was free at the time we stayed. We loved having the plunge pool to cool down after the heat of the day. Dave is a great host and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Just to be clear, you're not sharing the space with David ; it's a three-bedroom house and each bedroom is on Airbnb. I'm fine with that; it's nice to have company. As it happens, neither bedroom was occupied and I had the run of the entire house (other than the other two bedrooms). Great deal! The bedrooms, which do lock, have plenty of storage and a giant bed. The bathroom has a big shower and a tub. As far as I can tell there isn't hot water to speak of but in Darwin all you want is tepid anyway. There's also an "upstairs lounge" with a broadcast TV; my bedroom, at least, didn't have its own. A/C is only upstairs; lots of ceiling fans downstairs plus louvres. Downstairs tv streams. Well stocked kitchen with lots of room for groceries, including many knives and food storage containers. The washing machine works well and there's four drying racks. Plenty of cleaning supplies including a Roomba. Wifi is iffy toward the edges due to the concrete. Convenient to town and bus lines.

I stayed at Danielle’s place for two nights. My room was comfortable, clean and quiet, with a toilet and bathroom just across hallway. I used the kitchen to make a cup of tea and get cool water. Danielle was super accommodating.She picked me up from airport and dropped me in town on my first afternoon, and rescued me when I got lost in a downpour of rain. There is a bus stop just a few metres from the house that will take you into town. I can thoroughly recommend Danielle’s place. Jane
