Large hallway with dining table, 2 bedrooms, living room with sofa bed, kitchen, shower room and terrace. Optimal transport connections, 3 minutes to the Kerpen A4/A61 highway junction, Cologne West with shopping center in about 12 minutes. Phantasialand Brühl is about 15 minutes., Brühler Schloss [Brühl Castle] in about 20 minutes, S-Bahn connection in the neighboring village, about 20 minutes to Cologne main station.

You will be staying on the edge of the Eifel between Aachen, Cologne and Phantasialand, all of which can be reached in about 35 minutes by car. The train station is a 10-minute walk away, and a supermarket is a 5-minute walk away. Bike and walking paths and forest right outside your door. Note: We are happy to welcome babies who are not yet walking, as well as young people aged 12 and over. The accommodation is not suitable for infants or toddlers.

The renovated bungalow nestles on the southern slope of the Rur Valley and overlooks the small village of Untermaubach and its castle. In the immediate vicinity are wonderful hiking trails through former vineyards, the Celtic Hochkoppel and the typical Buntsandsteinfelsen [colorful sandstone rocks] along the Rur. Rurtal & the Eifel National Park are particularly attractive for hikers, mountain bikers/e-bikers and nature lovers.

The center of the city of Düren is 3 km away from the apartment. In addition, the location is ideal as a starting point for cycling tours along the Rur.
