The Cottage is just a block from the Main Street of this quaint historic village, it is within walking distance from most amenities in town. The Cottage will become your home away from home here in Nundle, the fridge is always stocked with breakfast awaiting your arrival. Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay in Nundle. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids) and is also pet friendly if advised on booking
“Kerry’s cottage is comfortable, bright and welcoming. It’s well located in the village of Nundle and has great views over the surrounding countryside. The cottage has been very thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed and more. Communication with Kerry was easy. Overall, we had a most enjoyable stay.”
We welcome people looking for some safe down time in the face of COVID-19. Our little blue cottage amongst the hills is the perfect artist's retreat. Nature lovers can sit and watch the wrens play and the kangaroos and wallabies graze. You may even spy the shy echidna, wombats and maybe a deer. This cosy cottage is open plan with a fire place for winter and airconditioning if you so choose in summer. For the musicians amongst you, we have an old piano crying out to be played.
“We had a lovely couple of days staying at Rachel’s quirky farm cottage. Totally private with lovely views over the hills and surrounding farm paddocks with the most amazing starry sky at night. Few minutes drive into the pretty town of Nundle & 45mins to Tamworth. Comfortable and welcoming place to stay for a relaxing break away. Rachel was a wonderful host, ever so helpful and accommodating. Great value for the price and we hope to stay again for longer next time.”
We are ideally situated for those who need to break their journey. We are approximately an 7 1/2 hour drive from Brisbane and 4 1/2 hours from Sydney and we are located 2 minutes off the New England Highway. It is a quiet, fully self contained, air conditioned cottage with a large bedroom, separate bathroom, lounge and fully equipped kitchen, situated in a quiet rural environment. There is a local pub which serves evening meals 7 days a week, plus a local café, both within walking distance.
“Arrived much later than expected on our motorbike ride. Jill was very accommodating with the place heated for us. The decor was beautifully done to every detail and had everything we needed. There was even some soup in the fridge which we appreciated as arrived so late. Fascinating to enjoy the All Black memorabilia from Grants days playing for the All Blacks. Beautiful garden and outlook. We loved the experience 🙏”
