Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Nuwara Eliya

- We stayed with my whole family, total of 7 adults and a child. As soon as we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and kind. The place is beautiful, decor of the house is well thought through and so nice! 😍 - We also booked a cooking class for dinner time and breakfast! There was a little misunderstanding about breakfast, because you can choose between a few options but the staff again went above and beyond to make sure we were happy (which we were anyway 🙂). - Cooking class was interesting, they explained everything thoroughly and food so delicious! We also booked a private bartender who made cocktails while we enjoyed the cooking class, which was very good as well and between the group, great value for money! - swimming pool is nice and refreshing, and view from the top floor terrace is stunning! - overall I would highly recommend this place - it’s perfect for a group but it’s really the staff that makes it extra great!

I travelled here in a group of 5 guys. Absolute gem of a place 10min away from Kandy lake. View of the hills from this place is amazing. Will need a private vehicle to commute from here but thats not much of a drawback. Last but not the least the hosts were very sweet and charming(Hiroshans mom and dad) . They made us feel at home and treated us like own family members including providing us breakfast and dinner and also refused to accept any charges. Don’t have to say the food was delicious. This will definitely be my go to place whenever in Kandy.

The place was very nice and the hosts very accommodating& nice. Pubudu was very easily accessible & spontaneously organized us a tuk tuk driver for picking up from the train station , with which we also explored the area! We would also recommend this - Mr. Gamage was incredibly nice, showed us a lot and explained& brought us back to the train station the next day. Would we recommend to anyone who, like us , only spends one night there to take advantage of the offer. The trip with Mr. Gamage was an absolute highlight for us!

The most beautiful experience at this villa. Incredible views from the terrace and pool. Justin (the chef) and Nessan (the housekeeper) were incredibly attentive and couldn’t have done more for us. They were aware we were staying over the new year holiday when shops would be shut so had stocked up on alcohol and supplies! Perfect for a big group. Very remote location (45 minutes from Kandy centre) but they have a tuk tuk to take you to the closest town (5 minutes away) for any necessities. All of our meals were cooked by the chef-very reasonable and so delicious! Highly recommend this villa.

Staying at Mashita's place was a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by stunning scenery, it's the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. The tranquil ambiance truly allows you to unplug and rejuvenate your senses. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway! Hosts truly elevated our experience. They were incredibly friendly, responsive, and always went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their impeccable manners and genuine care for their guests made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It's rare to find such a gracious host, and we're grateful for their warmth and attentiveness throughout our stay.

The host is a friendly and communicative person. He can even arrange for someone else to take care of your needs even he lives in a different country (with a completely different time zone). However, be cautious if you have a long vehicle. The car parking is quite tight and challenging to enter and exit. (Fortunately, the host is willing to provide you with street parking or his friend’s driveway.) We had an unfortunate incident where we had to cancel our booking at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. The host was incredibly helpful and fully cooperated with us.

The apartment was as described and very clean. Upali met us on arrival and provided us with the keys and showed us the place. We asked him for a heater as it was quite cold in the apartment and he brought that along with a blanket right away. The unit is very damp - perhaps it is because of the location but it is quite noticeable. There was an elevator which we appreciated since we had luggage. Having a kitchen and a fridge was also very convenient. There is a restaurant at the first floor of the building that serves decent food as well. We walked to the main market which is about 9 minutes away. Overall excellent value for the money and great for a night or two!

It was a wonderful stay. The view from the roof was excellent. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the stay. I would like to strongly recommend the place. Everything worked nicely at the end. There is a nice kitchen and four bedrooms. A man stays there and he tried his best to help us, but he cannot speak or understand English. To write an honest review I would like to mention what I don't like too. Host gave me number of Sashi,. He requested me to call him after leaving Punnawala, after reaching near Kandy and after reaching the property. I don't understand why do I need to call him so many times, when is not going to come at all. Certain things like wifi and TV in first floor was not working. Sashi told that some one name Shyam will come within few minutes. He eventually came after 5 hours after a few calls. He was of great support and solved all the minor issues. Now the caretaker and Shyam do not understand that people may need privacy. They were freely moving in the first floor.

Dammi was an extremely friendly host who was also very responsive. She was very warm and ensured I felt comfortable during the stay. Dammi had even prepared a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast for me and it was amazing! Definitely coming back when I visit again!
