Experience life on Dorrigo Plateau in this unique cabin, which offers a refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is situated 10 km from Dorrigo Township on 50 acres with views overlooking forests and farmland. A natural spring supplies all water requirements and a log fire keeps guests warm and relaxed in cooler weather.
“Toona Vale is a stunning little getaway. Absolutely picturesque. And Dorrigo has so much to offer in its own quiet little way. We stayed two nights but wish we had stayed a week. The waterfalls and rain forests, quiet tidy country town is well worth taking your time to sink into. Sharon is a great host. We recommend this stay highly!”
Welcome to Harvest bnb, Dorrigo. Our property is 3 acres of lush gardens with our own piece of remnant rainforest. Stroll and enjoy the amazing plant and bird life, or have a seat and take in the great views. We love vegetarian food so your stay includes a hot vegetarian breakfast. Your room is self-contained with it's own private entrance, bathroom, coffee machine, microwave, bar fridge, TV & queen sized bed. Bushwalks, birdwatching, cafes, drives and local waterfalls all only minutes away.
Black Mountain was devastated in the November 2019 and is currently unsuitable for guests. We managed to save the Ant Shack but have no water and the forest is badly burnt. I will re-open bookings when we have restored a little of the amenity
“Well Worth the Trip We had a wonderful time in a truely beautiful location. The accommodation was exactly as we expected - clean, cosy and with great amenities. I can’t remember the last time that I slept so well. Merryl and Alastair were superb hosts who provided just the right mix of company and solitude. They’ve done an amazing job restoring and regenerating this highly sensitive remnant range-land, important to species and river conservation. If you are looking to enjoy some peace and quiet in a spectacular remote, natural setting, then you will love this place. So rejuvenating. Next time I will bring my paints and canvas.”
