Vacation rentals in Oberthal

We found the house fairly easily. Sandrine was accommodating after we arrived late due to Eurotunnel delays the day before. The house was lighter and brighter than in the photos and was very prettily decorated with lovely Alpine things- even Christmas decorations which was lovely. It was all very clean, tidy, modern and warm. I had possibly misread the room descriptions because the third bedroom is an alcove in the upstairs hall and not a bedroom with a door. My teen daughter was upset and then had an argument with her brother about who had the room with the door but as he is too tall for the junior bunk bed she ended up with it and it was fine. We very much enjoyed our stay. There is a fondue dish and a raclette set which was great. We were worried about being snowed in but the snowplough was out at 5.30am. The house is near a main road so there was a very small amount of road noise. Sandrine and Yann are friendly and helpful - thank you very much.

Very clean and comfortable place. The train station is very close, and arrive once an hour. Piotr is very friendly and responsive.

It was a very pleasant stay: the apartment is well located, clean, and the hosts very friendly. Also very well equipped. We just want to visit again!

We (4 adults - 4 children) had a great time in this beautiful cottage with beautiful views. The layout was perfect, allowing you to enjoy the place all together or to isolate yourself (1 living room at the top and 1 at the bottom). Access is easy from Morzine, less from St Jean d 'Aulps, making it easy to get to several stations. Thanks to our hosts.

We had a wonderful weekend, the cottage is a little far from the center, quiet, but still within walking distance. The interior is beautiful, well decorated with everything you need to cook and have fun (a bonus point for the small indoor ping pong table!). And of course the beautiful views of the mountains!

Perfect to access both ski resorts. Very easy walk, even with small Children. The garage is super good - as everything is in walking distance, we did not touch the car during our entire stay. Julie is a super host - she even managed to fix a minor defect (light) the very next day. The place and the host make you feel like at home.

Everything is as described. When we arrived, the key handover was completely problem-free with a key safe. The apartment was super clean and tidy. Everything you need for a problem-free comfortable stay is available. I would like to classify the contact with the landlord Christoph as uncomplicated, friendly and helpful. It was also pleasant for us that you could park right in front of the house. Shopping facilities (Edeka etc.) in the immediate vicinity of the apartment are available. All in all, a nice stay. Friends and acquaintances who want to explore the Schaffhausen region and the surrounding area in Switzerland, but do not want to pay Swiss prices, I would recommend the apartment. Wonderful location in the middle of the meadow. The accommodation is as described, very convenient for 2 families and very well equipped and secure inside for young children. Thierry gave us clear instructions and answered any questions we had. A perfect oasis to explore the surrounding area. We had a lovely stay.
