We built it with much love and fun in a creative, organic way from recycled, found and donated materials. The whole apartment yours; separate frontdoor. It is situated in the centre of the charming old town. As the windows towards the street are with special panes, you have no problem with noise from the traffic. Rhenen is situated in the province of Utrecht, close to Gelderland; more or less in the middle of the Netherlands. By train it is about 1,5 hour to get to Amsterdam; to Utrecht about 1/2 hour, and to Arnhem about 1/2 by bus. For the first morning there is stuf to make your own breakfast.

Maasbommel is gelegen in het prachtige landelijke Land van Maas en Waal in recreatiegebied De Gouden Ham, aan de Maas. Hier kun je fietsen, wandelen, zwemmen, bootje huren, uit eten, bowlen, watersporten etc. De voormalige koeienstal is nu een sfeervolle ruimte met royale slaapkamer, inloopdouche, zithoek, tv, volledig uitgeruste keuken. Ons appartement heeft een prachtig uitzicht op de grote tuin. Naast de eigen opgang staat een tuintafel met stoelen om heerlijk in de zon te genieten.

Sleeping on the Rhine in our cozy renovated ‘Blue’ room and bathroom in a beautiful old dike house. Within walking distance is the Blue Room, the Grebbeberg and a number of fantastic walking/cycling routes along the Waal and Rhine. Also a number of cozy restaurants including ‘t Veerhuis (200m away). You have access to a large part of the garden with lounge area. And possibly in the morning a Betuwe breakfast in the garden or in the room.

Rural location, peace, space and alpacas

In the guesthouse you immediately feel the relaxing atmosphere. Through the use of natural materials and the view of the garden and the animals, you can really experience the countryside. Outside, you can encounter all kinds of animals, like a hare or a pheasant. And of course the chickens and the alpacas. On the lounge set you see from the guesthouse, you can relax. You walk right into the meadow to get to know the alpacas up close.

Windmill Maurik Betuwe Gelderland

Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.
