Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Old City, Philadelphia

My gang of friends agreed we’d happily come back here again - lovely setting & big driveway for parking; comfy bedrooms and generous number of bathrooms; well-equipped kitchen compared to most rentals; pleasant but unobtrusive decor; and short, clear host instructions. And it was so warm for December that we even got to hang out on the patio, also comfy & welcoming. I think the only things (and they were very minor) that we’d recommend adding would be conventional potholders, a few more sets of silverware, a couple more DR chairs, and a reminder sign about the step down from the kitchen into the DR. Overall, would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay! Very spacious place and we love the neighborhood. There are sooo many stairs so keep in mind if you have little ones with you. Beds were comfortable and the two outdoor spaces were great.

Clean, comfortable, great location, lots of space in the house to spread out. Friendly and responsive hosts. Easily walkable to all kinds of great things in the city. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout (extra toothbrushes, power cables, smart TVs). A fantastic visit with my brother and his kids.

We highly recommend this amazingly appointed space, located in a lovely neighborhood, very special and private, the perfect location for exploring all that Philly has to offer. We loved coming home to this house at the end of a busy day. We all wished we had more time to just sit around and enjoy the house!

We had a GREAT time at this location, with very few general complaints. -The TV was huge - beds where comfy -the air conditioning worked great - kitchen was gorgeous -location had everything you want for Philly (I am a Philly local) -the hot tub was clean -the house was darn near spotless Only complaints (and tbh this is nit picking!) -there is a charge for the hot tub (I feel there should only be one if you make a mess of it). Since the place was so pricey, we feel that a little much -you need to bring your own cleaning supplies (trash bags/paper towels, etc). -the tv didn’t have much in terms of streaming services/phone connection (bring a chrome cast or video game system if you want that). -water pressure wasn’t the best -it is a LITTLE loud outside at night, so be aware (not the owners fault, obviously—it’s right in center city so they’ll happen). Rob was a fantastic host and his place was perfect for our Christmas vacation. The space was clean, well laid out and furnished. We were able to host a brunch while also feeling cozy when on our own. Rob was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Place is very very nice and clean. Hosts are incredibly easy to work with and very responsive.

We had the entire family in town for a wedding including 5 small grandchildren. The house was perfect with plenty of rooms and space for us to enjoy being together. It was a cold February weekend but we took advantage of the fire table on the porch and the children roasting marshmallows in the backyard chiminea. Mike was a great host and extremely responsive. We had a leaky sink and he immediately had someone over to fix it. After an icy night he had someone salt the steps before we even woke up. This house is perfect for a large get together and we hope to be back in the summer for our next trip to NJ! A great family stay in beautiful home!

Marc was a great host and the space was very comfortable. The check-in process was straightforward and the neighborhood was quiet with ample street parking at all hours. He kindly provided towels and toothbrushes for use. The curtains around the house are a little thin and don’t cover the windows entirely, especially in the bedrooms. But otherwise an excellent stay!

Beautiful decor. Very clean, peaceful neighbourhood and close to the train and buses. J was very helpful and communicative throughout. Really lovely touches, and lots of condiments. It felt like home!

We were very comfortable and appreciated how open, clean, and easy the space was. Nachman was very easy to communicate with and very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

Hala was a great host. Super responsive and kind. We got in early on a red eye thinking we'd be struggling to buddy our time until check-in but when I asked for very early check in time, she immediately responded and hence became our hero! Dunkin next door was a bonus. The place was very nice and exactly as shown. Loved having this as our home base for us meeting family in Elkins Park. Thanks!

Chandra was extremely nice and responsive. The unit was homey and comfortable. The bed was amazing and the couch was very comfortable as well. The neighbhoorhood was very quiet and the upstairs tenants were very mindful of us guest. The stay was amazing and peaceful. I will 100% book again.

I will definitely stay again in the future. Allen’s place is very beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Only issue is the parking you have to be there early to get a good spot or you’re walking blocks to the location. I will recommend this property to friends as well. Thanks Allen 🙏🏿
