we felt right at home the moment we pulled in the drive. a truly beautiful, private place to stay. it had everything we needed and the private secure yard was great for Mckenzie to run around in. Hanna and I are all ready talking about booking a return trip :)

We had an excellent two night stay here. The house is amazing, plenty of space and well equipped for big or small groups. We cooked both nights and had everything we needed. The games room is a lot of fun and the fire was very welcome. Our hosts set the fire for us the night we arrived which was very kind. Clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for parking. A car is definitely needed to visit New Plymouth and the surrounding area. Host was responsive on the app and the house was private in peaceful surroundings.

We had a wonderful stay at Sheree’s place! The house was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Everything was well prepared, and we especially appreciated the board games. We had fun playing Monopoly! Sheree was a kind and responsive host, and communication was always smooth. The location was great and made it easy for us to explore the area and relax. We would absolutely love to come back again!

We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely house. The house was very nice, clean, and incredibly comfortable. It’s beautifully designed with modern furniture and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The living spaces were spacious and well-lit, and the beds were super comfy, perfect for a restful sleep after a long day. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy for us to cook meals during our stay. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. It was a peaceful and relaxing place to unwind, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and stylish place to stay!

Beautiful house, easy to access and friendly, flexible host

We came down from Auckland for the International Female Riders Day (motorbikes) and the unit exceeded expectations. Clean, bright and modern with super comfy beds and a lovely big outdoor seating area, with gorgeous views overlooking the ocean. It is alot bigger than expected, with full kitchen and a fabulous bathroom. Plenty of parking space. The location was private and off the main roads, which meant we didn't have to worry about the security of our motorbikes. Wendy was a great host, and I would recommend this airbnb to anyone without hesitation.

An excellent stay! The host offered a ton of breakfast food, fruit, homemade butter and strawberry jam. Was also very accommodating with early check-in, let me check in a few hours early as my plane landed early in the morning. Amazing place, would definitely recommend to anyone!

I can't recommend this place enough to be honest. The view is stunning, you feel like you are in a movie set waking up in the morning and walking out into the lounge. The decor and finishing is really tasteful and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the place. We've been here twice now and we'll be back again. It's just so nice to sit on balcony/deck and watch the stars. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and the waves are just perfect, with no rips, so you feel safe letting the (appropriately aged) kids get in on their own if you want. We were there late April and water temperature was absolutely fine. Go here, you won't be disappointed.

Edwin’s place does not disappoint. The hosts are friendly and helpful. I did some laundry and they helped me out by putting my clothes in the hamper, as I was out all day. Cool bengal cat hung out with me on arrival as well.

Highly recommend staying here. very private and quiet area. The place is in excellent condition and very modern.

David and Sonia were very friendly and made us welcome when we arrived. Perfect hosts. The accommodation was spotless, private and nice and roomy. We only stayed one night unfortunately, but would love to go back again.

We loved our time here. We stayed for 2 weeks and felt at home. We travelled with 2 children; they enjoyed walking around the property and made best friends with Ricky, the dog. Lovely cottage, peaceful location and great hosts. Highly recommend this cottage.

Had a lovely time at Martin’s place. Great location for getting around New Plymouth and any issues were resolved quickly and friendly. Good recommendations and fun things to do in the place as well.

We are travelling to NP multiple times a year and I wished, we would have discovered July’s place earlier. For sure our “home away from home” whenever we are in town from now onwards. Excellent location oy a few metres from town centre, large supermarket 200m away, close to the water front. Spotless clean appartment, well thought of amenities, full size kitchen, fast wifi and satellite TV. July has been a great host and super easy to communicate with prior arrival. What else to say…we will be back and can highly recommend July’s place for anyone looking for a “gem” in New Plymouth.

My stay at Jennifer's was wonderful! She is so kind and welcoming. The place was comfortable and got full day sun which was perfect for reading. Jennifer had great recommendations of coffee, food and shops, and was great to chat with. Highly recommend!

The room was just as beautiful and lovely as in the photos. It was well-equipped with cutlery and amenities, making for a very comfortable stay!
