Vacation rentals in Općina Vižinada

We stayed in about five places in Croatia during our vacation. This was our favorite place. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The pool was pristine clean. And much bigger than I expected. It was easy to do laps in the pool. It was so so refreshing! I watched the beautiful sunset from edge of the pool looking out at hills of trees and vineyards. I highly recommend this place for someone who wants a peaceful place but still be a short distance from “tourist” destinations like Motovun. You can actually see Motovun from the back patio as you watch the sunset. If you want to cook for yourself, they have everything you need. However, do your grocery shopping way before you get to this little town.

We had a wonderful stay in Meri's accommodation. She and her husband Vedran are great hosts and try very hard to ensure that you don't miss anything. You quickly feel at home and the exchange is very private, as if you have known each other for a long time. The villa is small but very nice, the completely fenced garden and the large pool were ideal for us and our dog. everything is clean and tidy. We can really recommend the accommodation. The house has been beautifully updated and decorated. It was nice to have three bedrooms with their own ensuite. Our daughter loved the play area under the stairs and was sad to leave. The house felt very cozy and each room had its own heat control which allowed us all to be comfortable. The main living space is a bit small but we managed. The courtyard was lovely and would be nice to use in the warmer months to provide more living space.

We were in Istria for the first time and are glad to have chosen Mara's studio in Vizinada. It was perfect: the location, the view (the best in Istria), the hospitality, the warmth, the cozy studio with the exceptional decor. Great excursion destinations (e.g. by bike) and fresh bread for breakfast around the corner. An all-round successful vacation - thank you!

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was extremely clean and the large bed was comfortable. There is a nice area for sitting out in the lower garden. The sea view is somewhat misleading. While it is possible to view the sea it can’t be done from the apartment unless you walk across the lower garden. The seaview shown is essentially from SAs parent apartment on the upper floor. That said the garden is a pleasant place to sit out. As others have stated there is a language issue with SAs father but this was easily got round with hand signals etc. He was waiting for our arrival and showed us round the apartment and was pleasant to deal with. He also brought chocolate pancakes one evening. SA was very quick to respond to my queries prior to arrival and offered us the option to arrive early. Overall this is a pleasant place to stay.

Villa Faloniga is simply sensationally beautiful and you just notice that the house is only 2 years old and no costs have been spared in the well thought out construction. The workmanship and amenities are simply top notch, not to mention the quiet location and views over the vineyards 😍 The hosts are also available 24/7 and are happy to help at any time. A stay with a baby is also not a problem. We would like to provide us with a baby cot, as well as a high chair by the host. We can only recommend the villa and are considering coming back for the next few years.

We were 2 families, 4 & 6 people. The house is perfect for this as it has 2 separate living units. We were warmly welcomed. There was a delicious homemade cake in the house as well as fresh fruit for us. The house was very clean and had everything you need. The children had a lot of fun in the pool. The covered terrace with an outside kitchen even has a small refrigerator and was perfect so we could all eat together. In the village itself there are very good restaurants and a grocery store with its own bakery and butcher. And you can quickly reach the beach in Porec by car. I was very positively surprised when a delicious home-baked cake was personally brought to me for my birthday. All in all we had a very nice holiday!! Thank you!!

The apartment has everything you need, we really enjoyed finding the coffee machine. The entrance overlooks the garden and is in a reserved place with respect to the street. The garden is equipped with chairs and a coffee table to relax in the Istrian countryside. The host was very kind, followed us step by step and gave us full confidence in the management of the house. Recommended.
