THE CABIN - is a newly built cabin (2024), located in a small cabin area on Oppheimsåsen with quiet surroundings. This is a cabin that is excellent for the extended family, or several families. Experience nature and a simple life. There are no cars, no facilities, and no other people close by. Outhouse, wood burning, a simple kitchen with gas for cooking. Striking nature just outside the door, with forest, marshes, water and endless hiking opportunities. In the winter, the ski slopes stretch for miles. At the same time, the sturgeon is only 12 km from Sundre (Ål city center), about 20 minutes by car, and 7 km from Ål ski center, about 12 minutes by car. Unique and comfortable accommodation with a delightful view

Our newly built "sleeping box" is teikna and built by the inexpensive architects in OPAFORM, Espen Folgerø and Marina Bauer, and stands on the 2nd floor in a empty grain barn from 1850 with airy views of Strandavatnet. The box has a 1.80 double bed, but it can put in an extra mattress or cot if needed. In the barn that is located in the building next door, a kitchen, bathroom and toilet have been built. We offer a large double bed (king size). In addition, we can add an extra bed and/or baby bed if needed.

Cabin in the mountains in Hallingdal

Newly built cabin at Torpoåsen in Hallingdal is rented out when we do not use it ourselves. Located in the middle of the mountains at Ål and in Hemsedal. Driveable road all the way up to the cabin from June to November. In winter you have to go skiing 1 km. in flat, prepared terrain, or rent scooter transport into the cabin (we arrange a ride). Charming farmhouse by the river, Gol, Hallingdal

Behind the house (20 metres) you'll find the river Hallingdalselva, where you can fish for trouts. You may borrow a canoe or a small rowing boat. Koselig kårstue på gård. Huset er bygget i 1905 og har interiør fra århundreskiftet til ca 1970. Store, lyse og luftige soverom i 2.etasje. Kjøkken og stue med vedovn og kamin i 1.etasje. Huset ligger like ved Hallingdalselva med flotte bade- og fiskemuligheter. Du kan låne robåt eller kanoer. Vi snakker norsk, engelsk og spansk.
