The cabin can also be base for exploring the region, with a short distance to the Art Nouveau city of Ålesund, beautiful Geiranger or the bird mountain at Runde. Relax with the whole family in this peaceful and cozy log cabin called "Fossegløs". You can sit in the built-in jacuzzi and enjoy the view of the river and the waterfall Støylefossen. You can explore famous places such as Geiranger and Olden (about 2 hours), Loen with Loen Skylift (1.5 hours), the bird island Runde, Øye (1 hour) and the Jugendbyen Ålesund (1.5 hours), and take mountain tours on foot or on skis to Slogen, Saudehornet, Liadalsnipa, Molladalen and Melshornet (can walk from the cabin). Close to several alpine and cross-country ski slopes.
