Gamlestova at Juv

Juv is much more than just house and bed! Gamlestova was the original farmhouse and has the same amazing views as Juvsøyna at Juv and Gamletunet at Juv. From the four-poster bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and if you are lucky enough to follow a tourist boat on the way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening you can fire in the oven, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound from the wood-burning stove close by. NB! Outdoor hot tub and car charger are not included in rent price.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful and cozy log cabin called "Fossegløs". You can sit in the built-in jacuzzi and enjoy the view of the river and the waterfall Støylefossen. You can explore famous places such as Geiranger and Olden (about 2 hours), Loen with Loen Skylift (1.5 hours), the bird island Runde, Øye (1 hour) and the Jugendbyen Ålesund (1.5 hours), and take mountain tours on foot or on skis to Slogen, Saudehornet, Liadalsnipa, Molladalen and Melshornet (can walk from the cabin). Close to several alpine and cross-country ski slopes.

Quiet area with great views to Ørstafjella, and access to the garden with hens, sheep, calves and horses at the disposal of the guest. We also have a boat for rent in Ørstafjorden. Great hiking area just behind the cottage, with an old paved road set up by around 1,000 rather large people in the 19th century. We are also in the middle of attractions like Geiranger, Loen and Olden, and Runde with the bird mountain. Also Jugendbyen Ålesund is 1.5 hrs away. In Fosnavågen, we have Sunnmørsbadet water park, 45 minutes away if the day is gray...

Quiet, peaceful, with stunning views of fjords and mountains, less than 10 meters from the water's edge. 70m2 plus large room at the pier level. The bathroom is large and stylish, and you also have access to one extra toilet in the laundry room. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room inviting. Short distance to both fjords, mountains and local shops.

Jølet! Think of floating above the ground on a bed of roaring water with stars in Aug! It is exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is special to provide an optimal sense of close proximity to nature. On the edge of a pond, created by the river a thousand years old to reach the fjord, weave the cabin partly on the terrain. Located completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking cultural landscapes and rural areas, this is a perfect city both for relaxation and activity.

Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. Welcome!

Idyllic Farm House Ålesund. Peaceful and nice view

A place for relaxation and outdoor activities. Enjoy walking or biking in close by mountains, or take a short walk to the ocean. Farm animals living in the area if you want to see sheeps and horses.
