We had a wonderful weekend stay in this hytte 😍 Very cozy, by the water. Eirin and Rolf were very helpful with advices! Also helped us a lot with the ice and snow to drive out after the weekend ☺️ would definitely stay again another time !

As soon as we had parked and got out of the car, we got butterflies in our stomach just from seeing the Skifterud farm. The couple on the farm with a skilled intern welcomed us warmly, shoulders lowered, the pace went down and the resting pulse arrived. They have an absolutely magical atmosphere. You'll hear the waterfall in the background, a small goat choir, and happy hens tripping around. There is wildlife, insect life, plant life. You'll wake up refreshed and look right at the lush valley and trees waving in the wind. We greeted those goats and walked to the waterfall that is close to the farm. We were also served organic, self grown, delicious food, as well as an unforgettable intimate concert with Rupert. Gaby is skilled in the subject, and we learned a lot on her classes that we'll take with us in our everyday lives. The farm is a rare jewel that everyone will have a unique experience on, whether it is to get knowledge, be inspired, or just get a break in from a busy everyday life. We are truly grateful for the stay and look forward to returning.

Absolutely fabulous stay for our family of four. We loved the quiet location and proximity to the ski slopes (Norefjell). The place was warm and cosy and had everything we needed. The Kiri supermarket was close and was reasonably priced. The day we didn’t ski we spent around and about the lake which was a lovely and interesting walk. Would loved to have seen this beautiful place in the snow! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Nice apartment in old Swedish house. Good for traveling with EV: electric charging available. Friendly hosts and nice surroundings. Can recommend!

The place was booked for an overnight stay for a weekend event and only as an overnight stay. Great to get there and find keys and rooms. Close to bathroom and the room met my expectations ❤️

Simple but lovely cabin in fantastic natural area directly by the lake. Perfect for recharging for everyday life and those who like to have a quiet time. It is possible to bring a dog that was spot on for us. Just recommend. 😉😁

A nice small cabin next to the owners family homestead. The cabin include a small kitchen with essential appliances, seating area, and bedroom. Outside there is a porch with chairs and a table. Car can be parked right in front of the cabin. Bathroom is located in the owners house but that was not a problem. Overall a good experience and we would visit again.

We had the pleasure of staying at Lillianne’s cottage. What a fantastic, pristine clean and cozy home we picked for our weekend! It has fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, wind and rain shielded outside sitting areas. Two canoe trips to the peaceful lake were the highlights of our stay. The canoe, paddles and life jackets were provided. We observed the wild life and had a great workout every day while exploring the whole area from the water. Lillianne answered all our questions and communicated promptly. We did not feel like leaving and we were able to extend our trip with a minimal notice.

Its very calm, relaxing place to stay and i really love the mix of traditional and modern designs in the house. The terrace facing the horses is what our family loves to looked at in the morning. Nina was also very helpful and responsive whenever i have questions on the house. Highly recommended for anyone to stay.

The place was a great fit for a family of 4 who would stand a couple of days on the slopes at Norefjell. Easily accessible. Master bedroom up and 2 bedrooms downstairs. Altial what you need for a nice weekend getaway.

We stayed for a week on a family trip with 4 adults and 5 children (aged 1-5) and the place was just perfect for that - lots of room for everyone, toys (even costumes) and an outside playarea for the kids. As this is Einar and Stephanie's actual home, they have everything You need - laundry facilities, fully equipped kitchen, dining area with enough plates, glasses and cutlery for everybody. They even have a gym and a sauna, not to mention the pool table and a cosy fireplace. Everything is well described and detailed in the listing, Stephanie was very helpful in the messages, too. The location is rural, You do need to keep this in mind. There is one local diner and one cafe, for anything else You do need to travel by car (30 minutes to Oslo), by train (15 minutes to Oslo) or bus (15 minutes to Ski). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would easily recommend it!

Incredibly nice host who was happy to show us around the small farm with all the cute animals. The blueberry was really elaborate and cozy, and we got a good night sleep between the tree tops. Recommended for anyone who wants to get out of the city for a little while and feel the tranquility of nature.

We had a really great stay at Ove's house. He is really nice and helpful. The house was ideal, a perfect place if you need some peace and quiet. We will definitely come back 🙂

We really liked our stay at this place! It is really quiet, but the town centre is within walking distance. We liked how easy it is to get around by bike and would really like to come back an explore the island some more. The house itself has everything you need and was super clean and well-organized. Overall, we had a great time!

The house is absolutely wonderful and cozy - it feelt like my second home! Rune is incredibly attentive and always ready to help with whatever I need. There were clear instructions and helpful tips available for trips around. Plus, we had lovely conversations even when I didn’t have any questions. Thank you so much for a truly fantastic stay!

We were 14 people between the ages of 10 and 75, at family reunions. There was plenty of space both outside and inside, cozy and old-fashioned. The hosts were nice and helpful, took the time to show us the sheep. Everyone in the party had a good time and was very happy with this stay, including the young people. There is a lot to see and do in this area, not least Sommarland in Bø. We would gladly came back!

We greatly enjoyed this fantastic place with our 2 children. The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. Beds were lovely. The view is breathtaking! Children were allowed to help feed the chickens. Judith is a very friendly and helpful woman.
