Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Spacious loft above garage building with one bedroom furnished with double bed and a loft with three mattresses. Kitchen (renovated in 2024) with cups and pots, coffee maker. Bathroom with shower, washing machine and a terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee with entertainment from the animals. Social and child-friendly sheep, cats and hens that everyone is happy to welcome some cuddles. Walking distance to shop, swimming area, bus stop and a great hiking area!

Charming and modernized little house at the heart of the Maridalen valley. Perfect for city and field holidays. 15 minutes drive to civilization or 20 minute train ride to Oslo S from Snippen station 200 meters away. For Varingskollen Alpinsenter it is 20 minutes by train the other way. Nordmarka's hiking trails and bike paths start at your doorstep. The host is living close by and is available. The house has a 20 sqm base, but is efficiently utilized with loft, large ceiling height and good window surfaces. The terrace is south facing and sunny.

Here you can find quiet among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view of the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just room for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent electric bikes, stroll down to the climbing park, or explore the local community.
