We live on the beautiful island of Osterøy, connected to the mainland via a bridge. Close to the city and close to nature! Within a 50-minute drive, you are in Bergen, and if you walk out of the street here, you are already on a hiking trail! It is a perfect place to do outdoor activities from here. Bergen Airport Flesland is 40 minutes away by car. The ideal spot for hiking, exploring Bergen and the fjords, or just enjoy the peace and quiet at this inland island of Osterøy. Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.

The Byrkjetunet Gard is a farm in quiet and enchanting surroundings of Osterøy. Here you can live in the gardsbruk's apartment, where you have an entrance and terrace. Great area for exploring on a sup board or kayaking (equipment can be rented from us during the summer months). We're situated very close to the E39, only a 40 min drive north of Bergen and 10 mins from the nearest shopping centre at Knarvik. Welcome to a cosy stay!
