Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ouachita Parish

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean — every room was spotless and felt so fresh and welcoming. It’s clear the hosts take great pride in maintaining the space. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful with their communication, providing clear and detailed instructions that made check-in, check-out, and everything in between a breeze. I truly appreciated how easy they made the entire experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free stay!

This is a lovely, older home that has been nicely updated. The hosts did not skip any details in making us feel welcome. Home was nicely stocked with all essentials and several unexpected extras. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this location to friends and family. One of the nicer Airbnb experiences we have had.

This was our 2nd stay and we went back because the property is in a perfect location for us, the rooms are large and Ginger has thought of everything. We highly recommend her place. We felt comfortable arriving late at night, it was very peaceful and she has it fixed up super nice! We will be back for sure when we travel to that area.

Stacie was a great host, and responded quickly, keeping in touch regarding any questions or concerns we had. I also appreciate her making the dates available at the last minute. We highly recommend her and will definitely choose her again if we have to come back to this area.

We had a great time! Really enjoyed the pool with my boys. We were in and out a lot due to cheer clinic at ULM. Overall we will definitely be staying here again. Host is quick to respond, her daughter is super friendly and got us everything we needed.

Easy to find and access. Nice deck with a large yard. Shower has great presser. Was in a perfect spot just 7 minutes from where we were working and at a better price then hotels.

The death of my mother-in-law caused us to need a place to stay with little notice. Shawn was so accommodating to change settings so I could book same day and allowed us to have a late check out to accommodate the funeral time. The host went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable, and it was perfect for my adult children to be with us and spacious enough to accommodate the whole family for lunch the day of. My daughter and I got up early and went for a walk in the neighborhood and it was an easy commute to restaurants. As a Realtor, I was enamored with the character and charm of the home! Very well decorated home and super clean.

Sandy’s place was very comfortable and roomy. She provided luggage racks in all bedrooms and there was plenty of space throughout the house to put our own things neatly. The home is located close to grocery stores and other necessities. Like others have stated, it is on a somewhat busy street but that caused no inconvenience for us. The yard is not fenced but the little back patio was very nice and comfy. Definitely recommend this home.

Cute and clean- perfect for my son and me

Pam's place was one of the most beautiful Airbnbs I have stayed in. The apartment I stayed in was newly renovated and it was gorgeous. It is a literally an old castle with beautiful palace grounds where you can meander throughout day. I had lovely conversations with Pam throughout my stay. I also grew fond of her dog Taetum whom I miss dearly. I would definitely choose this Airbnb over others if I visit Monroe again.

Overall, it was a phenomenal experience. Super friendly host, great place to stay! No complaints at all, I felt completely at home my entire stay. Wish I could’ve stayed longer, and I highly recommend this air BnB for anyone needing to stay within the area.

I look forward to returning for my next home visit.

Cool historical building! Comfortable and clean furnishings!

Downtown West Monroe, told my cousin to pick me up at Edges , the barbershop. He was a bit incredulous with me being bald and all. He gets his beard trimmed there. My other cousins get all their kids haircut there as well. They didn’t know about the Airbnb. So you walk through a barbershop filled with folks at the barbershop. The owners a transplant from NOLA, so apparently the town has embraced him and for good reason. The bakery across the street was da Bomb, courtyard on cotton art gallery had a great show of LA art. J-Mac’s sports bar was like stepping into a New Orleans locals hangout. Either bridge across the Ouachita river is an easy stroll to the Warehouse restaurant, or the Cotton exchange, and on the west Monroe side a Louisiana seafood joint lookin at Monroe across the river. The BBQ joint on Trenton st smelled right just didn’t have the time or belly to eat there. The WMPD’s detective unit is right across the street from the bakery and it shows. 5 stars all the way.

The penthouse was amazing! It was so great to get ready in for my wedding this past weekend. The host was very responsive and very flexible with my check in.

Loved the place. Could have used more explicit instructions for getting in. Can’t touch the key pad to light up the numbers. You must touch the first number of your code to light up the pad to make it work. Otherwise, it was great.

My mom stayed here while we were celebrating Christmas with my wife’s family. Very clean, nicely furnished, and convenient location!

Prime location in downtown. We easily walked to restaurants, bars, and even the civic center. Would definitely stay again.

Always enjoy our stay at Castle Hall.
