Adji’s Place The apartment is as advertised. Best part about the place: bug screens on the windows — no mosquitoes! (or flies!) Local general store near the building (support local business), with larger chain super markets a short drive away. Within walking distance to the ocean. There is a nice, reasonably priced Spa, 100m around the corner. I was there for diving, and the only Dive Shop in Dakar (only Dive Shop in Senegal, Nautilus Diving Centre) was a 15 min walk away. Some restaurants also within walking distance, although cooking in the kitchen is great too, as it has all the amenities. It is Senegal however, so there are the occasional power outages, water outages, and sometimes the elevator is on the fritz (7th floor, great view, lots of stairs, good exercise)

The host is responsive, the place is spacious and sumptuous. I had a very nice stay during my week in Senegal I recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at this place during our vacation. The apartment was very clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated. Amenities provided, like the fully equipped kitchen and Wi-Fi, made our stay even more enjoyable. In addition, the owner was very friendly and responsive to our requests, a quality service that we really appreciated. We highly recommend this place and hope to return soon!

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed at Hedi's apartment. The interior is spacious, airy, full of natural light, and comfortable. It feels like home. We enjoy having two bathrooms. The third-floor terrace presents a lovely welcome space every time we return home. The washing machine makes for easy laundry. The neighborhood is a great find in Dakar, peaceful and friendly, with a real neighborhood feeling. It combines the old and the new, street stalls and tiny stores for food and daily needs. It's walkable to cafes, good restaurants, and a few fine galleries. The vendors remember us from stay to stay. Hedi, Bineta, and Mariama are super responsive and helpful.

Aminata was very responsive to my booking request. The accommodation is well located as well.

An exceptional stay in Dakar! I had originally booked for two days, but the comfort of the accommodation and the quality of the service convinced me to extend my stay to more than a week. The apartment is perfectly located, close to all the attractions and activities of Dakar, while offering calm and security in a building with a very good welcome. The furniture is of high quality, everything is thought out for guest comfort. Special mention for the host, a remarkable responsiveness and listening, always available to make sure everything goes smoothly. A place to know absolutely to enjoy the city in ideal conditions. No complaints, I highly recommend it!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely pleasant stay at Marietou's! The apartment was impeccably clean, spacious, bathed in light and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped, perfect for preparing meals. Everything was designed to make the experience enjoyable. Seemingly superb lulled for the sound of the waves. Clean. The electricity system is complicated for people who do not have a Senegalese phone number but the manager took care of it quickly. Attention for Europeans, is next to a mosque so the call of prayer but it is not so inconvenient.

As a family of 5, we had a great time in this very nice, modern and spacious apartment. Beatrice was attentive, responsive and gave good advice. A safe bet!

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Indigo House. The property was clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood felt safe and house was convenient to a main road, but was far enough away to be quiet.

Amy was very kind to me, welcoming, and helpful during my trip. From the moment I arrived in Senegal and even after I left she was communicative. I also appreciated how flexible she was as my itinerary shifted a few times during my visit. We shared wonderful conversations, some meals together, and other pleasantries. She is a knowledgable person about the area, the country, and a myriad of other subjects. I would recommend her as a host for others traveling to Dakar. Also, her two dogs were an adorable bonus!
