Please note that the address is Achter Raadhoven 45A, a green garden door, and not Achter Raadhoven 45, where our neighbor lives. De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

The holiday home is located on our farm in Breukelen in the middle of the greenery. You have a comfortable accommodation with a luxurious rain shower and a private terrace with a view over the real authentic Dutch countryside. You have company of our sheep. Here you will completely relax while you are still close to the city: within 20 minutes you are in both Amsterdam and Utrecht. Ideal for those who want the best of both worlds.

Group Accommodation

The accommodation is built with many natural and authentic building materials, giving each space its own unique character. It consists of three apartments and the Hooiberg. The Hooiberg houses the communal area and two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's ideal for families or groups who enjoy spending time together and dining together, but also value privacy. The train station is a 10-12-minute walk away (1 km).

Guesthouse on estate on the Vecht

Stay in the former eighteenth-century summer house of the Bouwerij on the Ridderhofstad Gunterstein estate on the Vecht in Breukelen. The summer cottage is located on the grounds of a small-scale organic dairy farm, a farm with 70 hectares of land adjacent to the Loosdrechtse lakes, where our cows, mostly traditional Dutch black and white cows, graze in an ancient park-like cultural landscape.
