Bood’s place was exactly as advertised. A good spot a couple minutes walk from the beach. The place is spacious, AC works well. Has all the accommodations. The town itself is lowkey and quiet compared to other places around Thailand. The host was very communicative and helpful during our stay. Thank you!

This is our second time at PapaHouse229. We even reorganized our stay in Thailand to be able to come back because we had kept a very good memory! Again, we were hosted very well. 😊 Everything was perfect! The service offered is excellent: fresh water was waiting for us in the refrigerator and the host, as for the first time, provided us with snacks. This is the accommodation to take absolutely if you want to spend a few days at the Floating Market in Amphawa: it is a very quiet market during the day and very lively at night. We were able to attend a concert of local popular singers. Very nice atmosphere! Thanks 🙏🏽 We'll be back! Sure!

It was the best family new year getaway. The house is clean and convenient, close to the sea. The owner of the house is the best I have ever stayed at. Airbnb provided help and information about the area without request. The best vacation ever ❤️ thank you so much

The place was perfect—just as described! It’s an ideal getaway for a quick family escape from Bangkok. The house is beautifully designed, and if you love traditional Thai architecture with stunning antique furniture, this is the perfect spot. The pool and garden were lovely, and it’s only about 10 minutes from Amphawa Floating Market. Highly recommended! The host was also very nice, with easy and smooth communication.

What a special place to stay! Right on the canal in the midst of the floating markets. It’s vibrant during the day then totally quiet after about 3 pm. It was fantastic being able to wander around the canal paths, past the shops and houses in the evening. The accommodation was a lovely old place that has been nicely renovated. Very comfortable and clean. Being able to sit out on the deck by the canal was perfect. Madame Ling’s little restaurant out the front was amazing. She made us the most delicious Thai dinner. The place was difficult to find but the host was very responsive and helped us get there. With some clearer instructions it should be easy to know where exactly in the market to enter and find the house. The walls are thin but the people staying in the next room were quiet. A motor boat went past at 4 am and someone was ringing a bell (local alarm?) at 6 am but this was all part of the charming character of the place. We absolutely loved it and want to go back!

Awesome location - overlooking the river in an authentic Thai teak house. Close to town - we walked to everything. Really safe and secure and hosts we really helpful. We enjoyed a quiet beer in the evening overlooking the river on the big veranda.

Staying at Onuma’s bungalow was a wonderful experience! She and her sister welcomed me with such warmth and kindness, making me feel right at home the minute I arrived at the residence. The bungalow was spotless, cozy, and just a short bike ride from the peaceful beach. Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast, and having a motorbike rental made exploring the area so easy. Their hospitality went above and beyond, making my trip truly special. I’m so grateful for their kindness and can’t recommend this place enough for future visitors. Thank you, Onuma and your sister—I hope to return someday! It was truly an unforgettable experience.
