Traditional Finnish cottage with a lake-side sauna. For foreigners it is quite an interesting experience. Remember to bring drinking water and learn how to make a fire for the sauna, and then you'll enjoy it. The place requires a bit driving on the gravel roads, but it is worth it. The host was very helpful in providing the tips and showed us around.

Every things was really nice. Elina was responsive and flexible with check-in and number of guests. The location was amazing. The cabin was fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Also, the hot tub and sauna were amazing.

A clean and lovely sauna cottage. The host offered to heat up the sauna, so we got to the sauna and the hot tubs right away. The host's apartment next to the sauna cottage didn't detract from the visit, we were left alone throughout the visit. Lovely place to relax, testimonials! 😊

The cabin was beautifully situated in a very remote region in southern Finland. The views were absolutely breath taking along with great amenities. The row boat was one of our favorite parts! We had a great time utilizing the wood-fired hot tub and sauna. The hosts were very responsive/friendly and I would recommend this listing to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

Really lovely cottage milieu and lots to do. Clean, tidy, and well thought out. Everything you need has been thought out. The bed was done, which felt like a luxury when I didn't arrive until the evening. The adjacent highway is a pretty good part of the yard, but it didn't hurt much. The cottage can easily sleep four, but it can be cramped for more than two people in the rain. In good weather, the yard is so comfortable that there's no problem.

Nice cottage home! The cottage was fully equipped and the outdoor sauna got really good steam. The location of the cottage was peaceful and private, and there was no line of sight in the neighbor's yards. A few kilometers away is the idyllic countryside center, where you can find a bakery and cafe, etc. The price/quality ratio is great for this place!

Great value for the price – rare to get this much included! We were honestly impressed with how much we got for the price. It’s rare to find a place where the hot tub is included without extra fees, and even rarer that it’s this easy to use alongside the sauna. The cottage was very well equipped – everything from a first aid kit to a great selection of spices and all the tools you’d need to cook. The grill was easy to operate and worked perfectly. The host was friendly and helpful, and we liked that the cottage wasn’t too far from the main road or the city – we didn’t want to be deep in the wilderness, so this location was ideal. While it’s not totally secluded, we still felt plenty of privacy using the hot tub, which mattered to us. Overall, a solid stay. Would definitely come again.

Bright and cosy cottage with a lovely view of the lake. The cottage was well stocked and looked much newer than the photos actually. The wood fire sauna was great and the lake’s water was clear and fresh. The yard got some good sun in the day and there were deck chairs to make the most of the warm weather. Would definitely come back again.

The cottage was in a great location in privacy! I would have loved to have stayed here longer. The sauna provided good steam and there was just the right amount of space in the cottage. The dog was also comfortable with freedom and a shallow beach where you could wade. Highly recommended!

It was just what it was supposed to be, really beautiful, peaceful, and in the middle of nature. The perfect home for a short relaxation! We went fishing on two days, and the fish would have gone up nicely, a couple to bring along (small hawks, perch, one measuring cake). The place was super tidy and everything promised was easy to find. A big recommendation for people who love peace and nature!

City cottages near Lahti. The cottage was very clean, the sauna building was brand new, and communication with the host was smooth. The windows of the cottage had a nice corn to Kymijärvi. In 15 minutes, the cottage drove to the services of Lahti. The cottage is located in a single-family home area, neighbors nearby. The lot is not bordered by neighbors with vegetation etc. and the yard is steep. The beach has a dock and a nice size beach that was still a little on winter days. As a consideration, there is no dishwasher. The neighbor behind the cabin has several big dogs that respond when they pass their yard. It's a good idea to go for a walk through a nearby service house with your own dog. ⭐️ A warm recommendation for if you're looking for an easy cottage close to services.

Great hosts and a great place to stay. The location is beautiful. Located directly at the national park, you can go hiking right at your doorstep. The jetty to the lake is great for swimming. On the covered terrace you sit very comfortably. Asmo and Hannele were great hosts who were always available. We felt very at home.

Absolutely amazing place! We stayed as a group of 6 for 12 days and great time. The property is at the end of a peninsula (yet still well reachable by car) so it is very quiet and peaceful. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need (kitchen appliances, sauna, bbq etc.). The 3 docks in all directions were perfect for breakfast, watching sunsets, jumping in the water or just enjoying the sun. Thanks for the opportunity to stay at your amazing cottage :)

We are grateful for four beautiful days at the lake in a small but very nice cabin. Everything you needed was available. The building is very well maintained. The sauna with the dip in the water was a treat at any time of the day.

The forest landscape from the deck was pleasant and the terrace was a good size anyway. The facilities are as in the pictures. Clean, clean, and new. Communication is fast and friendly.
