Guesthouse in the countryside

Our guest house is a 9-square-meter yard building, where you will find basic kitchen utensils. There is an outdoor toilet at the back of the house and a wood-heated sauna next to it. The atmosphere is also brought by a wood-fired grill. The room has a radiator for cool nights and a fan for heat. The old henhouse will stay quite cool even on the hottest days. We and our neighbors have dogs, so your dogs are welcome too. Keep in mind that dogs can make noise during the day. The room height in the yard building is 195 cm.

Small (40m2) and cute typical Finnish log cabin 40 minutes drive from Helsinki. About a 20-minute drive to Porvoo. Peaceful location in the countryside, large sunny terrace with an expansive view, in the summer there is also a grill canopy available. An air source heat pump keeps the cottage warm in the winter and cool in the summer. A yard sauna completed in May 2025 is also available. Lake and boat whale about 100 meters away. The sandy beach of the municipality is within walking distance (about 600m).

This small apartment is located in the cultural-historical area of Järvenpää. The studio accommodates 1 person. Parking space, self check-in. Location near Sibelius' home Ainola. 1.5 km to the city center. Beach park nearby. 30 min by train to Helsinki. The area is old Järvenpää, the properties protected by the Museum Office and under renovation surround the property.

Forest garden apartment Kulloviken

Our lovely annex was build in 1968, few years later than the main house where we live. It has been fully rennovated to accomodate a full kitchen, bathroom and a living area with a double bed and a vintage couch. We wanted to bring back some of the farmhouse charm with wood floors, raw tiles and a good twist of rural mystic. The kitchen was hand made from scratch to perfectly take you to a past now forgotten. The modern utilityes are there for your convinience, without breaking the spell.

*Basement Studio Järvenpää - More comfortable than a hotel*

Welcome to stay in our cozy and peaceful studio, which is located in connection with our detached house, but on a completely separate floor. The apartment has a private entrance through our lower yard, where you will also find a parking space. The studio was renovated in 2020 and new furniture was also acquired at the same time. Saunakallio train station is 1 km from us and Helsinki-Vantaa airport is about 30 minutes. Sheets, towels, coffee, tea and sugar are included in the price.
