Monthly Rentals in Palmones

This lovely and unique cottage was perfect for the two of us for a week in November. We were able to sit around the pool at times and really enjoyed the outside seating area which overlooked the courtyard with trees and birdlife. 🥰enormous wide double bed..We loved Bologna Beach, beautiful sand with dunes at the end, and just a handful of people around. The kite surfing along this coastline at other beaches was spectacular, we have never seen anything like it. An enormous thank you to Frank the owner who assisted me in getting my phone back when I lost it inTarifa. We flew LHR/Gibraltar airport with BA and this meant we had to cross the border into Spain to collect our car hire which was straightforward, but a bit unusual for us. We stopped at Mercadona supermarket en route, as we were not within walking distance of any restaurants, and stocked up with food incl. eggs, bacon, tortillas, salad, bulgar and dips, and this all came in very handy indeed for very relaxing evening meals

So first of all, the price is unbeatable, the area totally cute and quiet. The apartment was impeccably clean and well equipped, there was everything you needed from detergent to shower gel. The roof terrace was also very nice, ate there relaxed. The only tiny drawback, the drains smell a little but you get used to it and it's not extremely bad either All in all we would definitely come back again:)

Very comfortable and quiet, spacious, ideal for resting in an area with all the amenities at hand and very good cuisine. Recommended in every respect.

We enjoyed spending a few days in Alejandro's apartment. It is a tastefully designed and furnished apartment with small roof terrace. The entrance is tucked into a somewhat dark alley, and made us a little restrained in our expectations... Not necessary: the apartment is beautiful and comfortable! Supermarket nearby. Parking can be a bit tricky, but under the supermarket is a (paid) parking garage, with always space. The communication with Alejandro went very smoothly and with humor. If we come back to Algeciras again, we will definitely be in this apartment again.
