The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. On cold days, you can make yourself wonderfully comfortable in front of the pellet stove. The cities of Leer and Papenburg are in the area and invite you to stroll, shop or visit a restaurant.
