Vacation rentals with a firepit in Paquera

We loved our stay! Stephano has created a unique, artsy space. The space is open, airy and connected to the outdoors. It is perfectly located outside of town yet in a great location for seeing the area. The yard is gorgeous and we loved the outdoor spaces with the hammocks. Stephano is a joyful host and quick to respond to any questions or needs you may have. The place is a gem, you can feel the love. If you are looking for a space that connects you to nature this place is for you! Be sure to eat at Playa de los Artistas. Hard to leave.

The house is beautiful, when you arrive you feel like at home, the kitchen is very equipped, the beds are very comfortable, it has air conditioning in each room hot water for the shower, washing machine, fast internet. The garden is very large and beautiful, in the mornings we managed to hear and see the Congos. José is very kind and attentive, he explained how to Book the Ferry, which route was best to get to the house and helped us book another two nights to continue enjoying the Montezuma area. From what we visit in the area 5 min there are several Super, 15 min away are the beaches and the center of Montezuma to go to dinner and Book Tours and Isla cemetery is about 25 min. My family and I are delighted with Casa Amapolas and with José, we would definitely return.

We loved staying with my friends here, it's an incredible space with all the comforts to enjoy our stay in Santa Teresa. The accommodation is just like the description and the photos. What we liked most was the shared outdoor space and that the path to the beach is right in front! Nahuel was very kind to welcome us, give us local recommendations and always be attentive to our needs. We would really come back and recommend the place!!

We had a great stay at this property. Everything was just as it was in the photos, very clean and comfortable. My family had a great time and Jose, the host, was super attentive and kind at all times. Highly recommended!

It was my second time in Costa Rica, and by far the best. Isabella made it so easy to get everything set up for the stay and then Mauricio met us upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of everything. I have never seen a view so spectacular in my life!I am so glad I chose Mal Pais over Santa Teresa.

Manuel & Elkin made this vacation a hit! The setup of the house was perfect for 2 families. King beds(very comfortable) and private baths for parents and kids had plenty of space and own bathrooms. The pool was perfect size and the open kitchen allowed great gathering spaces. Elkin the caretaker shows up immediately whenever you need anything and extremely helpful, even texted us one morning to let us know the monkeys were out and walked us to them, plus he's an amazing human! -Grocery store right next door open 7am-9pm-make sure to try the lunch special and empanadas cooked out front of store. -Fabulous Bakery next door accepts US dollars has amazing pastries -Coffee shop 3 minute walk on way to beach with pop dinner while we were there! -Pedro for surf board lessons and rental on the way to the beach -Full bar restaurant overlooking beach for dinners after evening swims watching the sun go down. -close to Playa Hermosa and Santa Teresa, so nice to stay away from the hustle.

It's evident how much effort Dave has put into the design of the home. The decor he selected is beautiful and unique. The hammocks were a wonderful treat. The bathrooms were each uniquely and beautifully designed, two of the three have open air showers. We enjoyed the privacy of the home. With so many windows and the open air in many areas of the house, we truly experienced the feeling of being immersed in the forest and nature. We were excited to hear howler monkeys off in the distance. The ocean view, forest, and sunrises were beautiful from the large back deck, and looking out from the master bedroom sliding door and deck. The darkness of the secluded home blessed us with millions of stars each night. The home maintained a temperature perfect for comfort, including at night, due to the home design, the screened windows/doors, along with the open air eaves. Dave also offered some great tips on things to do and restaurant recommendations.

This house is an absolute gem 💎 Incredible quiet location. You are surrounded by nature and incredible trees. It felt like we were living with the monkeys. The architecture of the house is very modern. Very well equipped. We made good use of the binoculars to spot the monkeys, toucans iguanas and birds in the morning. The pool and its surroundings are stunning.. personally my favourite thing about the house. And so many pretty flowers everywhere! We were all very sad to leave but will definitely come back next year! Thank you for everything.

everything was perfect. A safe and quiet place

It was our first time in the area and since before booking, Lorna was very attentive explaining and recommending which places to visit. On site Adonis welcomes you who at all times was super attentive, friendly and willing to help you in everything from where to eat to how to get to the beaches and by the way to show you the place. That said in passing is divine in the middle of many trees, sound of birds and visit of the howler monkeys. The apartment is super well equipped, clean, white and beautiful natural light. The village has a beautiful vibe, the playa has a lot of stones but that is its charm. The cherry on the cake is Luna and Toby that accompany you on the hikes and the pool in a shade very barely to relax in the afternoon. We will definitely be back🫶🏼.

Kristian was a great host, he met us at the property and helped us to use the washing machine and suggested activities. It’s worth noting that there is some traffic noise, in the double bedroom because it’s close to the road but we slept fine using ear plugs. It’s a handy stopover for taking the ferry.

The place was neat and cozy. We had a bit of an issue with a car blocking the garage entrance band they addressed it immediately. Everything worked inside the room, and out. And the view to the ocean was pristine.

Beautiful condo, loved the terrace and the view. Definitely when visiting will come back!

Very gracious host, clean apartment and pretty good value for money

An amazing place would really come back a thousand times to the place is accessible and the safety of the place makes you smile to a safe one also in a very good location to know many beaches and places. It was a vacation to remember !!

We had the perfect getaway in this little corner of paradise! Every detail in the accommodation and on the grounds is well thought out, creating a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay. We felt completely recharged and didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend!

I slept great even though there wasn't air conditioning. there are multiple fans and the area is pretty well shaded. very pleasant space and amenities

We had a wonderful stay at Jose's place. The house is super well equipped and it's easy to feel at home there. The host is very kind and discreet. He helped us and was very understanding. It's a place that mixes comfort and nature. We'll keep this in touch for your next trip. Big favorites!!!!

The house is beautiful, and has everything you need for a ten-star stay. The only negative point, if I had to mark something, is that it has many security cameras inside the house and you feel a little watched, but other than that I would recommend it and I would definitely come back!! The beds are very comfortable!!

Beautiful place! Very well put together airbnb. Linens, pillows, towels all very nice. Great kitchen to cook in with nice non-toxic pots and pans. Also a great desk setup to do remote work. Lucila and Andres are lovely hosts. The road to the house is pretty bumpy. We did it no problem with the rav4, just a little slower. Ended up getting the quad from Lucila and it’s much faster to get to the beach :)

It has spectacular views, I feel that it is a place to go to relax, as a family , there were 2 quite friendly dogs, really the entrance is quite beautiful, but the climb for the arrival of the house if it is a little complicated , small cars do not know if they go up easily, there is room to do BBQ and POOL. Pleasant .

Robin is a very kind and experienced host. Everything worked right away The keys were in a key compartment at the property gate, for which we received a code from Robin on the day of arrival. On the way to the house you drive past numerous orange trees. There's this Peter Fox song "Haus am See" – a bit of that feeling. The equipment also includes an orange squeeze, with which you can make fresh orange juice. The whole house is lovingly designed and the furnishings leave nothing to be desired. The property is above the town of Carmona in the mountains of Nandayure at about 500 meters. There is no public electricity or public electricity Water. The water in the house comes from its own source, and the electricity comes from the sun. Internet is Starlink. Crystal clear starry sky and in the immediate vicinity you will find many breathtaking squares, beaches and waterfalls. Absolutely recommended!
