Vacation rentals with a kayak in Paw Paw Lake

On my way, I messaged our host because I had not seen the arrival instructions. They were immediately responsive and helped me find the email, and sent a second set of instructions to be certain I would get in easily. The house was exactly as it was pictured and described and it was perfect for a group of six guys in town to race our sail boat. We know Holland, the restaurants and our way around. Our hosts provided additional choices we were not aware of. Erin was proactive about local trash pick-up and the neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful stay after long days out on the lake.

My family and I were blown away by the house and its surroundings. We were a party of 10 adults attending my nephew's wedding at the Marion Magnolia Farms venue which was about 2 miles away. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Except the food, of course. Plenty of bath towels, blankets, etc. Bring bottled water. The backyard setting adjacent to the lake was tranquil and peaceful. The weather was beautiful for October (high 70's). We spent the evening around the fire pit making s'mores. No mosquitoes or flies. Yay!!!!!!! You literally will not want to leave!!!!!!!!!!!! But we had to get back to reality. For 3 days and 2 nights we were able to escape the busyness of everyday living. Thanks Amy for allowing us to have a wonderful mini-vacation/wedding celebration at your AirBnB.

Shannon’s place was great! We brought the sleds, it was a quick easy jog to the trails, plows left the side of the roads for the sleds. Parking is on the tighter side, but Shannon has options, so just let her know and she will gladly try and figure something out. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning

We all had a great time at Jaleen's house. It was exactly what we were looking for to get together with a group of friends and relax. There was plenty to do around the area and offered at the house but the large kitchen/dining/living area was perfect for what we were looking for. The house was very clean throughout and felt inviting. Our few questions we had from Jaleen were answered quickly and kindly.

We had a short stay at Paulette’s place for the CFP game between Notre Dame and Indiana. An easy 20 minutes to and from campus. Being December we couldn’t take advantage of the lake amenities, but the house and provisions were great. Highly recommend for a Notre Dame football weekend.

It is a great cozy little lake getaway. The host has the place stocked with anything and everything that you would need. Perfect for anyone who might forget something. it has a beautiful view of theLake. Aaron was a great host to deal with. We enjoyed our stay.

This was our third year staying at Chris’s cottage. The cottage was spotless as always, equipped with snacks, water, plenty of towels and amenities. The cottage is on Fish Lake, beautiful and peaceful but also fun to watch all of the water activities and wildlife. The weather was perfect. The mark of a fantastic place and location is never having to turn on the TV to pass the time. We will be back next year if it’s available! Thank you, Chris!

Perfect home for a long weekend that included a Notre Dame football game. The home had plenty of space for two couples and the kitchen is beautifully updated. The house is exactly like the photos and even better in person. Lovely large yard, plenty of seating out by the lake, kayaks for use, a firepit; a great vacation home. Bonus on an ND football weekend: much less traffic coming from north of campus, easy drive getting in and out of campus.

It was a beautiful cottage and we enjoyed our stay very much. We really appreciated the snacks and other things laid out for us. We would definitely love to come back and stay again in the summer!

Holly’s Cozy Cottage was just that! It was comfortable and clean with yard games and a fire pit. The screened in porch was where we spent most of our time. Holly provided lots of unexpected amenities to make our stay comfortable. Holly was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend a stay at this AirBNB!

Great private location with beautiful peaceful views of nature. Looking forward to staying again when the weather warms up. Canoe, kayaks, paddle boat, fire pit, bbq grill and even corn hole. Kitchen fully stocked for making meals and plenty of comfy pillows and blankets. Thanks you for sharing your home.

My daughters and I celebrated Easter at Kim’s cottage It’s clean, beautifully furnished and she is extremely responsive (I mentioned I forgot OJ on the phone and she was in the area and she left two OJs at the door) The cottage is cozy and fun We grilled, dyed eggs, watched movies, played a board game and loved the hot tub It’s clean clean !!! Just book it It’s a jewel box

We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed plus some extra snacks we did not expect. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the surrounding nature and the peacefulness it provided. Communication was excellent and the host was very accommodating. We stayed at Mark's place while skiing all weekend at Bittersweet. We had a great time! Mark was super helpful and accommodating and even offered my husband to borrow his skis :) he hooked us up with discounted passes and had great local recommendations. We'll definitely be back! Thanks, Mark :)

This place was well beyond our expectations. First off the host was extremely accommodating. She accommodated my special needs for my husband’s birthday weekend. Great location as well had dinner & tasting at journeyman. So close. The cabin itself was so clean & had everything. The grounds were great & so nice to wake up to. Had coffee in the enclosed patio, took a nice walk around the resort & had such a peaceful time in the cabin. The master bedroom was so comfortable, & I’m very picky about that. This stay made me look into owning in this actual resort. My only regret is our kids are all older now, college age, that I didn’t find this place when they were younger. This is a fabulous family place. I will definitely be back, plus highly recommend this to others! Great host, clean cabin & great central location!

Sitting in a comfy recliner next to the fireplace and looking out at a tranquil snowy landscape with majestic cranes was just the relaxing break I needed!

We had an excellent time as a family at David's cabin. Everything was as advertised, and more. David was very proactive in communicating with us and responsive to any questions we had. The cabin was really, really beautiful, with peaceful surroundings and all the comforts of a well appointed home. David was clear about the pet policy and our dog was clearly welcome in the home. David left really nice touches for the humans as well, with cookies and muffins on our arrival. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, and we are particularly impressed with how well everything is labeled...light switches, cupboard doors, electronics, etc. Very, very well done. We enjoyed our long weekend, winter escape!

This property is beautiful and quite. It's a great place to get away from the hustle back home and disconnect from all the technology (although there are TVs in two of the bedrooms and good wifi if you need it). And the resturant recommendation that was about 10 minutes away was great food! I'd definitely recommend this if you need some time to just be with friends/family, play games, enjoy the lake and nature!

What a beautiful cabin! My husband and I were looking to get away for a few days and enjoy a cozy, private place! This home checked all of our boxes! Very nicely kept, home was orderly, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect as it snowed the day after our arrival and was peaceful and serene! We were able to start a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed relaxing on the comfy sofas! Huge soaker tub in upstairs bathroom and plenty of bedrooms and a fun basement area! The perfect setup! We will have to bring some friends back with us next time- tons of room for several guests to enjoy! We dined at several local restaurants (within a 10 minute drive) that were delicious and spent some time on Water St for shopping, food, and brews! A must-stay place!

We stayed for a long weekend, the cabin was super cute and had everything we needed and more! We spent a good deal of time playing the many games there, especially the street fighter game! We also used the bikes provided and loved exploring the nearby trails. We will plan on coming back when it's a little warmer so we can take advantage of the lake!
