Charming 3 Bedroom Cottage in the Countryside

Our house is the perfect getaway for a family, group of friends or a couple. The lake and gardens around the house provide the quiet and peace of a retreat place, away from the busyness and distractions of the city. It's a very pretty drive to Columbia, MO (about 30 minutes), and 20 minutes to Rocheport, a very cute historical town by the Missouri River. A beautiful attraction that is close to our property is the Warm Springs Ranch. The Clydesdale breeding farm. This is a great place to visit.

Sweet little cabin by a little pond at the edge of the woods. Large sunny windows, real bed, (with room to bed a child or two down on the floor) tea pot, easy chair, composting toilet, AC, WiFi, hiking trails. There's no shower in the Cabin. Our water is from a deep well, tested, certified ... and delicious! There is an above ground pool, trampoline, and a trail down the hill Very child friendly. We maintain a fragrance-free facility, so no air "fresheners".

PLEASE READ!!! The MRF Inn features contact free stays and check-in. The Inn is newly remodeled. Each Unit has a small kitchenette area equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, toaster, dishes, serving ware and a coffee maker. You will need to acquire provisions ahead of time as there is not a grocery store in Arrow Rock. Meals and snacks are not provided. This room is on the first floor, west suite of the Inn. There is not a common area/gathering room.

The home has recently been fully renovated from an Amish tack shop. It is located in the heart of an Amish community. This cute house is on a working alternative farm that raises grass-fed beef and lamb. If you want to get away from the busy life, come sit on the porch and watch the sunset. A state park is close for kayaking and canoeing. There are some very nice restaurants and wineries close by or you can cook in the large kitchen. There are some great biking trails and horse back riding in the conservation area that's 2 miles away.
