“Words can not truly express how amazing this house and host Stelios is. First the host: Amazing. Great communication to ensure you have a wonderful experience. Besides the already very informative documents, Stelios is also very attentive to answer questions and steer you in the right direction for your vacation wants and needs. Our daughter got married at the house and he provided names of very trust worthy businesses to make our event special and one of a kind! Stelios went above and beyond to ensure our celebration was magical. His family from the initial greeting until we left made us feel right at home and cared for. The house: so beautiful and stylish. With the three levels, couples can stay here and have private areas. Our daughter got married on the middle terrace with the sunset creating beautiful scenery. Very equipped for everything you need. The beach bags, towels, etc. is a special touch. I’m wishing I was on the top terrace with my coffee right now! We will be back as we have fallen in love with Filoti, the food, the hospitality, and this house. Naxos is a wonderful place for everyone. Note: be prepared to walk steps to the village but don’t worry it is so beautiful it makes for a wonderful journey. Car is needed if you want to go other places and suggested.”

For better travel it is advisable to have a means of transport. Upon arrival and departure, we will take you to and from the port.
“This little oasis is truly a jewel. A 2 minute drive from town just off the main road there’s a dirt road that leads back to their walled compound of 4 darling cottages in a quiet garden setting. There is a lovely outdoor dining area under a grape arbor for common use and each cottage has its own patio with bistro table. The garden is dense with fruit trees with the hidden delights of a small turtle pond, a tortoise run, and an aviary with parakeets, a rainbow colored cockatiel and some rescued (injured) doves. Stephanie and a Stella were the perfect hosts. While the cottage had everything we needed they made sure we had any extras we asked for (we inquired about a bbq and they brought a Greek style hibachi for us to cook some meats, including briquettes and fire starter). They also gave us a bottle of their lovely homemade wine (a bit like Mavrodaphne), including a small bottle as a parting gift. In the cottage was also a carafe of their homemade limoncella made with the local citron fruit- it was delicious!! This sweet hardworking couple have created a wonderful little spot for visitors to escape the bustle of Chora and enjoy a truly Greek setting to come home to each night. Bravo Stephanie and a Stella!”

“We are 100% overwhelmed by our stay at Sophia's house and, above all, the great hospitality we received. Sophia's parents Elena and Giorgio were the best hosts you could have imagined, we got fresh vegetables and fruits from our own garden almost every day, our own eggs and homemade jam, olive oil and red wine. Both Sophia and her parents were always available to answer questions, although we speak very little Greek, the communication went great, Elena speaks Italian, French and Greek and Giorgio Greek, Italian and also a little English. The two dogs Chicco and Bimba were also super cute. The house is decorated with love, many details were thought and there is nothing missing. In Ano Sangri it is recommended to rent a car or quad, as the nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away and the beautiful beaches and places are so great to reach. Unfortunately you can not rely on the bus connections at all. All around we enjoyed our time, it is the perfect place to relax and explore the island.”
