great location. i loved the historic scenery. perfect place for a couple. the room was beyond my expectations. 8-10 minutes from the casino. the price was pretty good for a weekend. we booked literally a day before. the only items you would need from home would be clothes and shoes. everything was provided as if you were home. everything was new and updated. it was very clean.

Convenient location, clear directions from host, and very clean. We would definitely stay again.

We loved the place, the building, and the atmosphere there. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay, this is the right place for you. Allison was a wonderful host. She is friendly and a very down to earth peron. Her response to our questions were fast and helpful. We look forward to renting to her again.

We stayed in unit 203 after having booked a different unit. While on our way Jeff called to say the previous booking needed to extend their stay and offered us this larger unit at no extra cost. Jeff was professional and courteous and we were gracious for the upgrade at no cost for our “inconvenience”. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to spend some time in downtown Danville.

We had a great stay at this beautiful, cozy condo! The views of Smith Mountain Lake were gorgeous, and we spent a lot of time just relaxing and taking it all in. The option to choose between the screened-in and open patios was so nice to have. The condo was very clean, and the area around it is beautiful—perfect for a quiet getaway. Leslie and Craig were responsive and helpful, especially when I needed to come back to grab a few things I left behind after check-out. We also appreciated the private dock box, which had nice camping chairs for sitting by the water and floats for swimming. The condo was cozy, with plenty of blankets to keep things comfortable. We hope to be back again!

The accommodations were perfect for an overnight stay near a good selection of restaurants. There were plenty of parking spaces and access was very simple. The beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped.

I stay at Jeff's frequently! Always just like home staying at his place!

We have stayed in a couple of John’s properties at SML before and it has always been wonderful. John is easy to get in touch with if we need something, and his properties are always comfortable and reasonably priced. He is a great host with well maintained listings.

We really enjoyed our visit. Was able to relax and refresh our batteries. The amenities, walking paths, and view made all aspects of our trip worth the expense.

This is our second time back, and we love the convenience of everything. It gets better every time.

This is the perfect place for a date weekend when you need a place to rest and sleep! While the place was small for us and our Dogs, it was perfect because our goal was to be on the lake anyways! Great amenities and boat dock! The place was decorated very cutely and host was very nice and responsive!

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations and amenities were as advertised and we really enjoyed the many deer and other wildlife that came around quite a bit. The location was very close to the lakes beach and restaurants and boat rentals reasonably close and easy to find.

The place is as pictured, comfy and clean. The host was very responsive and accommodating. I would recommend and stay again.

Karl’s place was exactly as advertised. The place is huge, beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. Backyard was beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful. We brought a large boat and there was plenty of room for parking!

Needed a last minute stay for my family including a dog, Eva was incredibly responsive and helpful. Truly grateful ☺️

Perfect spot within walking distance to Napolis and Bernard’s landing event venue. Beautiful view from the living room and balcony. Everything was clean and the condo smelt fantastic. I do wish there were more blankets/linens for the bed. It was a wonderful stay, thank you Tracy for welcoming us into your home.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful space. Host was quick to respond to any questions I had during stay. Kitchen had everything you would need to prepare meals even a blender. It's the little things like washing pods, coffee pods, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap and such, that make your trip that much smoother. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at Adam’s place. Plenty of space for our two families with 4 young children. We felt very comfortable and the unit had everything we needed and then some. In terms of locations I can’t imagine a better place, views were spectacular, especially sunrises and sunsets off the mountains and water. Amenities were conveniently located and despite many being closed due to the off-season we felt we had plenty to do. Would very happily spend another stay in the future and highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our (too short!) stay at this condo. It was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We especially liked the view of the lake and being able to walk out the slider right to the docks. It was a nice, quiet location, yet not too far from conveniences.

We totally fell in love with Lauren's place! It was clean, peaceful, and beautifully decorated. This was our second visit to Smith Mountain Lake, as we are starting to get a feel for possibly retiring to that area. Lauren answered any questions we had quickly. We would definitely like to go back!

Brooke was wonderful in helping us book a stay at her place last minute. She went out of her way to get us in and also checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure thing were going well. The apartment is very nice and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. Do not hesitate to stay at this airbnb, you will love it. Brooke thank you for everything.
