The house has an incredible family history - the house of a slave freed in 1880. We have Internet service. WIFI. Your hosts, Yoel and Yaima, look forward to having you stay! Yoel is a former IT engineer and speaks excellent English. He is happy to show you around his beautiful town.
“Yoel greeted us kindly and told us everything worth knowing for our stay. We had the entire upper floor for us with a large bedroom and a large living room, as well as 2 outdoor areas. Yoel also gave us a lot of information about the life of the Cubans, so we had a good vision of the way of life of the Cubans. As we had only booked one night, we could only see the city center. But for this, one day is enough. Translation done with the free version of the translator www.DeepL.com/Translator”

“We stayed at Pepe’s house for 7 nights and it was an extremely enjoyable experience. It is very easy to find, and Pepe met us when we arrived to show us around the apartment, which is absolutely stunning and exceeded all expectations. In addition, Pepe does have WiFi at the apartment, so he will let you have the code. You can purchase your ECTECSA internet cards from the office located near the Hotel Iberostar, where you will also find a WiFi’s hot spot area. There are two fantastic hammocks that you can relax in after a long day of exploring Trinidad, which offers so much. The main square, Plaza Mayor, is not that far away about a 15 minute walk Pepe lives downstairs, so if you ever needed any assistance Pepe was available to help. The apartment is serviced each day by either Mayulis or Arasay, both delightful and helpful young ladies, plus they also help Pepe with breakfast and dinner. We were extremely well looked after by Pepe and we had our breakfast cooked either by Mayulis or Arasay each day. The food is plentiful, and you never go hungry, in fact the opposite, there is so much you can save some for later. Dinner is simply magnificent, and it is so much better then restaurant food. Every night Pepe prepares you something different. The flavours of each meal was divine, and we can certainly recommend any fish dish. Pepe is also very good regarding any food allergies you may have, so do let him know before you arrive. Pepe is very helpful and caring and has clear passion for cooking and ensuring your stay is relaxing and enjoyable. . We cannot recommend Pepe’s home highly enough, and we will certainly be coming back to stay at the best Casa in Trinidad.”
LaJulia Hostal is located in Piro Guinart Street # 406 only a few meters away from the main square of Trinidad. It counts with a spacious air-conditioned room, hot-cold water service 24 hours and a terrace with panoramic view of the city, the sea and the mountains.
“We had a lovely stay at Julia's place! The space was great with a big room and 2 double beds, 2 nice big patio areas and a fantastic location. Julia was really hospitable with laundry service, drinks in the room and breakfast provided. The WiFi in house was a little temperamental, but this seems to be the case in Cuba! She also gave good tips on what to do in the area, but it definitely helped knowing some Spanish. Whilst the room is separate to the house there was no private entrance and so you always had to walk through the living room, however this was not a problem because Julia was always really nice!”
