Our small family had a lovely and comfortable time at Laura and Luis' place! It is cute and set up with all the things to make our stay comfortable. When we reached out to Laura and Luis, they were extremely responsive and helpful! They went the extra mile to make us comfortable by providing a crib for our 10-month-old - we are grateful! It was easy to check in, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and it was within walking distance to a yummy restaurant called La Finca Restuarante y Pizzeria. Thank you for your hospitality!

Everything was great about the house, the location and proximity to tamarindo. It fit 5 couples perfectly and the outdoor space was amazing. But what made this place outstanding was the house lady Diana, not only is she amazing at her job but her demeanor and warm personality made this place feel like home. She made us breakfast for every morning and worked around different peoples schedule and she went above and beyond. The host Elsa was also amazing and super attentive the whole trip. The whole team made the experience go above and beyond. The only negative was hacienda Pinilla itself where a lot of the amenities were closed or closed early because no one was working or other random reasons but besides that 5/5

Such an adorable house! We really enjoyed our time here. The one thing to note is that is a 15 minute walk to the beach, which feels even longer in the heat! That is just something to consider if you are you traveling without your car. Otherwise, I would highly recommend!

Casa Bosque will forever be in our happy memories! My family had such an incredible stay here. The hosts, Forest and Andrea, were so attentive to our questions or needs. She even made us sourdough bread one morning! They were respectful of our space and felt genuinely glad we were enjoying ourselves. They took our families sunset pics the last night. It was great getting to know them! The home is picturesque and has everything you need to enjoy Playa Negra. The beautiful pool overlooked the ocean and tropical landscape. It was refreshing to lounge in during the heat of the day. The kitchen had every amenity we needed to fix coffee, breakfast, and lunch. We chose to try restaurants in the area for dinners each night. Howler monkeys delighted us a couple of days when we could see the family hopping through the trees. The beach out front was a dream to walk out to from your own private entrance. We will definitely be putting this home on our “go back to” list. We enjoyed every minute!!

The place is perfect and exactly as described by the pictures. The rooms are big, and comfortable. The place is quiet. The pool is great for a sunny day or at night. I enjoyed the time in this place and absolutely will visit it again with my friends, we all loved it.

Our family of 3 had a wonderful stay at Casa Emy! Emy goes above and beyond to make her guest house welcoming (it is well-equipped!), and she went above and beyond to help us feel at home and provide local recommendations. She lives right next door, so when the dryer in our house didn’t work, she even took all of laundry and returned it dried AND folded! She was really a wonderful host! Both times we went for a swim at the pool, we had it to ourselves. We loved being close to the airport (35 minutes) for the last couple nights of our Costa Rican adventure, and also within a reasonable distance of multiple beaches. Thank you, Emy!

Great stay in El Coco. Ellie graciously hosted my family and provided ample communicaction before and during our stay in Las Palmas.

Al’s place was nice, in a quiet location as expected with the beach just a minutes walk away. The kitchen was useful. The grounds were great for iguana spotting and one night we saw howler monkeys in the trees! The pool was a little green around the grouting which made me hesitate to go underwater but nonetheless very refreshing. The pool is shared as described, but directly outside the other apartment which at times makes you feel like you’re encroaching on someone else’s area. We were lucky as the other guests were very peaceful too. The place maybe needs a bit of attention in terms of window security, nets, and overall upkeep but the air-con was spot on and bathroom had left over niceties. However, I did always feel safe and not as many mosquitos as I anticipated which was a welcome surprise. Amazing walk along the beach or road with cafes/restaurants to explore. Despite the improvements suggested, the stay was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our time exploring Tamarindo.

Allan is an excellent host, friendly, polite and quick to respond. The accommodation is very cozy, very smart, easy to get to and located in a quite strategic point to move to the beaches. I felt too satisfied, excellent internet, everything you need in the kitchen and very clean everything. I'll definitely stay at this place again and recommend it 100%.

Logan’s place was an absolute paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there! The pool is amazing and a lot of fun! The garden is beautiful and brings so many different kinds of nature to watch. We saw something different everyday. His staff is very helpful and friendly. It was the best place to celebrate our 25th anniversary! Thank you!

Nothing to adjust here. Starting with the communication: impeccable. It was very easy communicating with Javier and Kelly, fast and clear. Hosts: Javier and Kelly are amazing. Very friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic, passionate about their country/region and the things to see + do, thorough in their communication and they give great advice. Location: for us this was perfect. Tamarindo is a lively place but we wanted a tranquil and cosy place away from the crowds, for which this place definitely delivered. Walking to Tamarindo is possible, but you will be sweaty walking back and the road doesn't have a side walk. Great beaches and other things to do in the neighborhood. Accomodation: was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was thought out, what to put where, many cosy chill spots, good kitchen, good bathroom, good AC, great view to watch the sunset. Overall, we basically spent our time mostly at the accomodation as Tamarindo is not exactly our cup of tea, but the accomodation WAS!

Excellent service from Ligia and Roy, super fast response time to our inquiries, the apartment was in excellent condition, and it is in a quiet area, close to beaches.

This beautiful, safe, and well-equipped cabin is in a convenient location close to the best beaches and Tamarindo. Cristopher is a welcoming, responsive, and accommodating host!! As mentioned in the listing, there is no heating/hot water however that was not an issue for us as it was extremely hot when we visited.

The place is very nice and complete, in the kitchen there were all kinds of utensils and appliances, the comfortable rooms and the bathroom very nice and impeccable, the pool area has a waterfall and colored lights perfect to enjoy on the night of a meeting with friends, full recommended

Super attentive, worrying about everything going well from the moment you had a good time. Any need was willing to resolve it. The house is very comfortable. The outdoor kitchen is very nice to share with friends. The location is great for those who want to enjoy the beach without having to worry about travel or complications. 10!

Wonderful stay! Listing shows exactly what you will find. It isn’t fancy but you’ll have everything you need. Location can’t be beat. Maybe a few more towels would be nice but no complaints. We enjoyed the place, comfortable beds, and appreciated the beach chairs too.

Excellent place, although part of the road is ballast, it does not affect anything to be able to arrive by car sedan,the place, the location, the views, the beach, absolutely everything was great, the view of the ocean day and night with the moon are priceless, 100% recommended.

If your looking for a nice place to experience Costa Rica this is the place too choose the location is safe and Paul has been the best host we ever had. You won’t be disappointed
