“What a great place to stay. For a single person or a couple, this is a great value. Quiet, clean, and with all the amenities you expect and many you don’t. Rhonda makes EVERY effort to ensure your stay is comfortable and convenient. My wife and I find ourselves spending more and more time in this area of Maine and we will always check to see if this cabin is available moving forward.”
The health and safety of our guests, homeowners, and employees is our number one priority. Many of our vacation rentals minimize person-to-person contact with private amenities and entry via smart locks or lockboxes. Plus, each reservation is backed by 24/7 customer support and expert cleaning in line with current CDC guidelines.
“This place is tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Setting is spectacular — 11 inches of snow in 24 hours yielded a veritable winter wonderland — just what we were hoping for. There was a public right of way 2 houses down that was perfect for a modest sledding hill. We had two cars, one with all wheel drive. The drive between route 26 and the house was a bit more harrowing than we were hoping for as some of the roads were not frequently plowed or salted. Consequently we could not make it up one of the hills with the 2wd vehicle and had to back all the way down and make other arrangements. While the final road isn’t paved I don’t think it would be a problem in summer. While it wasn’t a problem for us, it was a little surprising that in spite of having so much space (and so many beds) spread over 3 floors, only one bed was a queen. I should have read the description better. But overall we had a wonderful time and would stay again in the future.”
Herb's house is in a quiet residential neighborhood of Auburn. Only 45 minutes from lakes, mountains, the ocean and the LL Bean flagship store in Freeport.
“As soon as I stepped into the house I could tell it was going to be a lovely weekend. The house was cozy and quiet, tucked away on a sleepy corner with a wonderful view out of the window. Everything that I could think of had been set up from me, from lined up mugs for morning coffee to perfectly folded towels. I've stayed in AirBnB's twice the price that were not half as nice.”
