Vacation rentals with a firepit in Polk County

Stay was great. Exactly how we expected it. We were in the area for Drake Relays and this was prefect spot for us to relax after a long day!

The home was a lovely place to stay. It was quiet and private with a nice yard for our dogs to stretch their legs in.

Angela's place was the perfect stop for our Midwest road trip. Lots of space for the family and a wonderfully stocked kitchen that made saving some money on dinner a breeze. Angela was friendly and very easy to communicate with.

The house was perfect. Very clean and we felt right at home. The beds are very comfy. Leann and Joe are very responsive and extremely helpful!

Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a get-away in the Des Moines area. Just a short trip out of Des Moines and well worth it to get away from the city. This place had everything we needed for our guys weekend — pool table, darts board, foosball table, etc. 10/10.

We absolutely loved our stay! Jared was very responsive and had great communication from the initial booking and throughout our stay. The house is roomy with great spaces to accommodate a family or multiple couples. Jared gives his guests a heads up that the property is occupied by him and his kids when not booked (in case something is out of place) but all we felt when we walked in was a sense of a lot of love and fun exists between those 4 walls. We were welcomed with a card and chocolates which I thought was a nice touch. He also provides a binder showing and describing the location of appliances, extra towels, linens, etc. The backyard is amazing and if you have a basketball baller, the court has a free throw and 3 point line. Pretty cool. Also in the back, are nice grilling options that unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use since our son’s wrestling tournament ran so late. However, my husband was happy with the charcoal options provided. 5 minutes to Ignit Facility!

Really liked this place and just as described. FYI the LG washer is a dryer also :D and make sure to Youtube how to use it. The setup was great. Parking is a little crazy but did not have any issues with anything. Would stay here again :)

This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. We loved the convenient location. The apartment met all expectations per description and photos. The hot tub was an added bonus. We really enjoyed this place and would love to stay again. Highly recommend to others.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful and we had an amazing time staying the weekend. Spent plenty of family time around the fire pit just relaxing and enjoying this amazing stay. Definitely plan on making another trip in the future!!!

The cabin was just as described, peaceful, quiet, and close to the interstate. Had everything we needed, would book again.

Everything was as expected, Jeremy was very informative. Fast to answer any questions and very accommodating to our girls wrestling team. We would definitely rebook if he would have us again thank you.

Andrew's place is a hidden gem. The house is extremely cozy, warm, rustic, romantic, easy going, upscale and fun. It's location and exterior feel "country" and free but it's the decor and coziness of the interior that really set the place apart as one of the best AirBnBs I've ever stayed at. If you want to stay in St. Louis, Andrew's place is a great getaway minutes from town and all things nearby. If you live in St. Louis area, Andrew's place is perfect for a rendevous, for a meditative solo juant or a couple of buddies who want to laugh and shout around a bonfire. You won't be disappointed. As a very, very small drawback, the water pressure is on the low side. Andrew's attention to detail is obvious and I'm sure his continued upgrades will inprove this. We visited the area for my kid's wrestling tournament. We were very comfortable, everyone had their own bed for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The place was perfect!

This is exactly what we needed. We are teachers who had just finished conferences and had a 3 day weekend. We chose to unplug and relax by reading books, walking in the woods, and playing games. Ernie and Mindy’s cabin was the perfect remedy. We walked trails which will take you through the woods and give you the opportunity to see some wildlife- we saw 4 deer and had over 30 different birds on our bird app. I even walked down to the pond another time and brought a pole and caught 7 bass and a crappie in a short time. The pond is small but has some nice fish in it. The cabin is small- but perfect for our needs. This one is farthest from the house and has a nice fire pit to use if the weather cooperates. The jacuzzi tub was a nice way to relax. I highly recommend this cabin and Ernie and Mindy are so nice and easy to communicate with.

It was a great place to stay for a wedding weekend. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy some hiking. Also appreciated the snacks and water and the hosts allowing dogs (the dogs were part of the wedding party so we needed them with us).

John’s cabin in the woods was perfect for a quiet weekend. There was more room for sleeping than the two of us needed. The cabin was so clean when we got there and the surrounding land was practically bug free for quiet walks. He was a wonderful host who checked in to make sure we were comfortable.
