You can feel the spirit of this old house right in the historical heart of Bulgaria - its ancient capital Veliko Tarnovo. Situated in the old town there are many touristic sights around. The Tsarevets Fortress with Sound & Light show is only 600 m away. Enjoy the food in the local restaurants or cook for yourself in the kitchen. You’ll love my place because of its quiet location, the inner courtyard, the fireplace, the comfy beds. The house is good for couples, families, kids and friends.
“I got a little bit scared by the idea of a 200 years old house, but must say it was amazing.. Definetly recommend and must come back again. Everything was sparkling clean, the communication was very prompt, and the value is the best comparing to hotels. I will recommend it to others for sure, when visiting Veliko Tirnovo, and if I ever come back I sure will check the availability of Red Konak first. It is suitable for kids also 👍”
Located in the center of Veliko Tarnovo. Very close to all the tourist attractions. Everything is a 10 minute walk away. A private apartment on the second floor of a building. A private parking spot only for the guests right next to the apartment. In a good neighborhood. It has 2 TV's- one in the bedroom and a big one in the living room. Free Wi-Fi. I offer laundry services by request from the guests.
“The place was excellent, much better than the photos. Super stylish and build with a lot of natural materials such as wood and stone that give the sense of coziness. The interior and small details around the space were lovely. Very convenient location and spotless clean. We are very happy with our stay and definitely recommend it!”
Lovely family home in a classic Veliko Tarnovo house. Very central, sunny, second floor with separate entrance, nice view, 70m². All the city hotspots at walking distance. Boutique shops, coffee and lunchrooms the moment you leave your doorsteps. One bedroom, a large open plan living, fully equipped kitchen, small room with a single bed and balcony. Great view and lots of light due to the large amounts of windows. The street is quiet but full of life the moment you turn the corner.
“What can I say about Yoni and her wonderful hospitality that hasn’t already been said! Very little, except that in our case she also helped us out of an unexpected troubling situation. We arrived in Velido Tarnovo only to discover that the bus we had planned to take to Bucharest after our three day stay wasn’t operating. Transportation alternatives weren’t good and even then wouldn’t coincide with our prearranged plans. Yoni immediately contacted a friend of hers and arranged transportation to get us there as originally planned. We really appreciated everything she did by going above and beyond to help us. Yoni’s apartment was lovely and she left yogurt, water, tea, beer, bread, apples and honey in the kitchen. How very thoughtful and kind! Our bed was really comfortable and the duvet was simply wonderful. The wifi was fast and the signal strong. Although we didn’t use the balcony (the weather wasn’t always cooperative) it would have been great for morning tea especially during the summer months. The apartment’s location is excellent. Just a couple of minutes away there’s a convenience store as well as the Old Town with its many shops and restaurants. Perhaps the only challenge with the location would be for someone with mobility issues who may have difficulty managing the cobblestone path down the short hill from the house to the street... it was slippery when it rained. Because the weather wasn’t as cooperative as we would have liked it meant we spent more time in the apartment than we normally would have. However the fireplace and a portable heater kept the apartment warm and perfectly cozy for a couple of hours of downtime reading and enjoying a glass of wine. It was a real pleasure to meet Yoni and stay in her apartment. Yoni... thank you so very much for everything! You are the perfect host!”
