The house very clean, tidy, with everything we need in the kitchen and the rest of the house The owners are very friendly and very helpful! We felt right at home and so do our big guys! It has a huge area, the pool is great!

Beautiful villa matching the description well! Little to do in the area but this was well balanced with suggestions for massages and lots of activities included in the villa! Would definitely recommend

We loved our stay in the Fontanheira houses, without a doubt I give 5 stars. The house has all the conditions for a couple with 2 children, very spacious, modern and beautifully decorated. My daughters say it was the coolest house where they stayed, they loved it! But note to those who have smaller children, that access to the mezzanine can be a bit dangerous, because the stairs do not have lateral protection, which for us was not a problem, as my daughters are already older. We stayed in the house farthest from the pool, which has a stunning view to the mountain (I don't know if the side house will also have). Great house to disconnect from everyday stress and recharge batteries in the middle of nature.

We loved the stay. It is possible to have peace and fun at the same time through contact with nature, whether through the beautiful landscape or even the dam. André is extremely attentive and Montezinho has everything a guest needs to enjoy their stay. All the items in the house are extremely tasteful, which allowed us to feel at home.

We had the most wonderful time here - the gardens are truly magical, especially lit up at night. The architecture of the two buildings and the grounds is really something special - and everything has been thought of to make a comfortable stay. The town, a short drive or walk away was so special to have on our doorstep! Raquel's recommendations for shops, places to eat and drink, and a local swimming river were exactly what we needed. She was super speedy communicating throughout and we felt very taken care of. Will be visiting again very soon!!

We spent 5 nights in late December/early January at Angelo Miguel's lovely home. It was easy to find and the home was very clean and spacious. We had a few questions when we first arrived, and Angelo Miguel answered them very quickly for us. The location of the home is excellent - walkable to all the local sights, restaurants, shops and snack bars. We highly recommend staying here if you are travelling to Montargil in the near future. Thank you to the host for making our trip so special and memorable.

Very good experience. Carmen is an excellent host. The house is beautifully decorated, impeccable cleaning. Ideal for resting and having a good time with family or friends.

This house is a little slice of heaven in the Portuguese countryside. We felt very at peace here and had two lovely nights. Google maps gave us awful instructions, do not take the tretourous path that seems more like a hiking trail to get to the house, go the long way around. The owner came and saved us though and the house exceeded our expectations and they gave us so many lovely treats. We will 100% return here again.

The landlords living upstairs were extraordinarily nice and helpful. Lots of helpful tips and in the morning even fresh buns were delivered by the baker.

A wonderful weekend, we ended up staying another day, and it was totally worth it!! Reka and James are wonderful, kind and kind people. Let's do it again, no doubt! I recommend to everyone that you want to rest and recharge batteries. It's truly a pearl in our dear Alentejo 🫶
