“Sara’s place was great. While the pictures and description are very accurate, the place felt a little bigger than I assumed. It was nice to not be in a hotel and instead feel like you are coming home to a house even if only for a week. Sara’s communication was awesome. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.”
Cozy one bedroom apartment with lots of natural light on Wesleyan's campus! With off street private parking. This is a non-smoking and non-partying apartment. Any smoking or partying will violate our house rules and guests may incur a fee and/or be asked to leave. Located on the second floor. A short walk to Wesleyan University’s Weshop, Freeman Athletic Center, Olin Library, Exley Science Center, & Foss Hill. Avoid the parking fiasco that is Freeman athletic center on a busy meet day.
“Matthew was a great host, we had to book at the last minute and he very quickly (within a few minutes) approved the reservation and got the place ready for us. It was a small space, but that was to be expected with a 1 bedroom. It seems like it is set up for people coming to visit or tour Wesleyan campus and for that purpose it would be perfect. The counter space in the kitchen is limited and no dishwasher but if you plan to order food out or fix pre prepared meals there would not be an issue. The space was nicely decorated in a minimalist way and we enjoyed features like the bedside lamps with charging ports. Overall we enjoyed our stay and Matthew's very quick responses and hospitality.”
Beautifully furnished, cozy summer cottage with deck that includes a gas grill and patio table for dining while overlooking gorgeous lake view. Occupancy includes dock access for fishing and lake access for small fishing boats or kayaks if you choose to bring them. There is also a public beach area accessible from the other side of the lake. Kitchen includes a Keurig for morning coffee and all kitchen essentials for meal preparation.
“We really enjoyed our stay at Christina's updated cottage. It was the perfect space for our family of 4- and there were kids toys, puzzles, books which was exciting for our kids. There is a TV in kids room, plus another nice large TV in living room with large DVD/Blu-ray selection for adults and kids. Kitchen has all you need, including kids dishes. We definitely enjoyed using the grill and having dinner on back deck overlooking the beautiful lake. The beach area on the lake was not accessible, but we found another access point to lake (where there are signs on tree that say "No Dumping" and "Area closed at sunset" ). Just drive around the right side of lake to this spot- you can park and walk down slope to sit on the bank (we brought folding chairs) and/or swim.”
