“Was a great place to stay in a lovely rural setting. The goodies Jan got for us for breakfast were outstanding and was the quality of food we get ourselves so well done !”

“This place is a hidden treasure! David has added so many thoughtful touches. The fridge was stocked with everything we needed for breakfast and even some above-and-beyond treats. The location was perfect for exploring Hastings and Napier. The guesthouse has a magnificent library that really adds to its charm. David was a warm and welcoming host. If you’re considering staying here, just do it!”

“I had a most enjoyable and memorable stay in Juan’s studio located on his magnificent rural property. The beautiful surroundings and stunning views were equally matched by the warm reception and hospitality I received from Juan, Mags and their charming family. I enjoyed strolling around the property, sitting by the creek and indulging in the fresh fruits Mags picked off the trees. I have traveled extensively throughout NZ and Juan’s guesthouse is by far my favourite stay and experience! Thank you for the comfortable stay and warm hospitality, Juan, Mags, Bianca and Jordan. I will be back again soon!”
