Theta Guesthouse

Theta is a 60 sq.m. stone guesthouse, a few meters from the square of Stemnitsa. Built in 1867, it is the "katowi" (ground floor) of a traditional village house. A spacious house with a dome, completely renovated in 2022 and accommodating up to 4 people. It has WC and a separate area with a shower-hydromassage. It has Wi-Fi and Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime account. The wooden balcony offers a nice view of the village and the courtyard on the green mountainside. Parking near the house.

A quiet place to relax. Very good use of air conditioners with cooling and heating. The stream has water for 8 months of the year, giving another oasis of tranquility! The accommodation is subject to a state tax (durability fee) which is 15 euros per night from April to October, because it is over 80 sqm. During the winter months, it is 4 euros. Traditional three-storey tower house in Karytaina. Reconstructed with great care by the hosts with authentic wooden elements and traditional touches in the decoration. The house is in a very quiet area of the village overlooking the bridge of Alfios and the plateau of Megalopolis. It has 2 fireplaces, a spacious living room and high-ceilinged bedrooms. At the entrance there is a courtyard with shade from a large walnut tree and vines.

It was a stone house, and we renovated it in the most modern way but maintaining the original look. There one lives the absolute tranquility and freedom since the distance from the square, the paths in the lush vegetation and the visit to other famous villages, is a "breath"
