le logement était très agréable à vivre en famille. chambres spacieuses, linge de lit impeccable, cuisine relativement bien équipée. billard sympa avec les enfants. piscine chauffée à 30 degrés vraiment idéale avec un petit côté jacuzzi à déclencher derrière la motorisation de la piscine (interrupteur). espace extérieur pour déjeuner en hauteur dominant la piscine vraiment sympa. espace au calme, idéal pour se reposer quelques jours et visiter la région nord de l ile. hotes réactifs, sympathiques et flexibles.

Leonel and his wife have created a cluster of wonderful apartments born out of absolute passion and love for the region and his family’s heritage. My wife and I stayed in the 3-bedroom apartment with its own private roof terrace overlooking the outdoor pool. The accommodation is located amongst the towering lush green mountain scape. The kitchen is really well equipped with an oven, microwave, hobs and double sink. A stunning location & apartment. Beware that no paper products can be flushed down the toilet, so there’s a separate bin for this…

Three generations from Granny at 67 to 4 year old grandson had a wonderful stay in this lovely house. So spacious with smaller seating areas for a little quiet time, fantastic pool and views of the ocean and sunsets. Shady spots in the garden or full sunshine and beautiful outside dining area. The kitchen was big enough for us all and the open cooking fire a bonus to our barbeque fan. It was well equipped with plenty of cutlery, glasses, etc. Lovely welcome fruit bowl - the bananas were the best ever - milk, cake, wine, beer, teabags, condiments and dishwasher tablets all there ready for us. The back kitchen with washing machines and drier and a brilliant sink for scrubbing muddy shoes after one of our lavada walks. Perfect Granny and Grandad suite on ground floor with huge shower, multiple bathrooms on the other floors and Maria stayed to help us reconfigure the beds to fit our family groups. A car is essential to get the most out of this beautiful island. We loved it - thank you!

Sądzę że to jest jeden z najlepszych widokowo app na wyspie. Tak spektakularnych zachodów słonca nie widziałam nigdzie. Basen w sam raz na popływanie po wycieczkach. Jest też siłownia, z widokiem na ocean, z której korzystał mój mąż. Jadna rzecz o której należy wiedzieć to że warto zabrać z sobą stopery do uszu bo naprzeciwko sypialni dość wcześnie rano przyjeżdża śmieciarka. Ale to nie powinno cię zniechęcić do rezerwacji. Graca jest też elastycznym Hostem i pozwoliła nam zostać 4 godz dłużej bo mieliśmy późno wieczorny lot. Dziękujemy!

Perfekte Unterkunft, um Madeira zu entdecken , fussläufig ins Zentrum für Restaurants und Shopping , sehr sauber und komfortabel, bequeme Betten, Reiseführer , Wanderführer , Ladekabel sind da. Die Kommunikation war immer schnell , flexibel und freundlich . Angenehme Wohnanlage mit Tiefgarage und großem Pool. Sehr zu empfehlen. Vorsicht beim Navigieren - nur mit goo. gle maps arbeiten , oder bei Leonel nachfragen . Danke nochmals !

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es hat eine perfekte Lage, wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Merveilleux séjour familial. La maison est très agréable à vivre. Elle est spacieuse avec une très belle vue. Elle est également très bien située avec des commerces à proximité. Le descriptif correspond bien à la réalité. Un grand merci à Noberta pour son efficacité et sa gentillesse. Nous avons vraiment aimé notre séjour. Nous reviendrons !!!

Tivemos umas férias maravilhosas na Casa da Janela! A casa é linda, muito acolhedora e perfeita para momentos em família. Estava impecavelmente limpa, bem equipada e cheia de pequenos detalhes que nos fizeram sentir verdadeiramente em casa. A paisagem é simplesmente relaxante — com uma vista deslumbrante para a montanha e para o mar. O barulho suave das ondas e o sossego absoluto foram o cenário perfeito para recarregar energias. A localização é excelente: isolada o suficiente para garantir tranquilidade total, mas perto de tudo o que precisávamos. Um grande obrigado aos anfitriões, que foram sempre atenciosos e disponíveis.

We had a fantastic stay in this cozy apartment right in the center of Funchal. The location couldn’t be better — just a few minutes' walk to the centre, restaurants, shops, and the beautiful waterfront. It made exploring the city super easy and convenient. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was friendly and responsive. Despite being in the heart of the city, it was surprisingly quiet at night, and the balcony was a lovely bonus for morning coffee or evening wine. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Funchal on foot and experience the local vibe!

Lovely appartement! Well-equipped; things like blender and even hiking sticks etc were present. Rodrigo is a great host and helps when needed! Appartement is really private. So you are not disturbed by anyone (except the cute little cat). You need a car when staying here.

Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft – direkt am Wasser mit einem einzigartigen Blick auf die Wellen, der jeden Moment besonders macht. So eine Aussicht findet man nur selten! Der Garten ist liebevoll gestaltet und lädt zum Verweilen ein. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten – ob Natur, Kultur oder Kulinarik, für jeden ist etwas dabei. Ein rundum gelungener Ort zum Abschalten und Genießen!

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt und die Lage ist sensationell. Es war alles da was man braucht und uns wurde auch vor Ankunft das Reisebett aufgebaut.

We stayed at this place for one week and had a wonderful time. The house is in the middle of a small banana plantation, and upon our arrival, we were greeted with a bunch of local bananas and a mango from Veronica. The beach is within walking distance. The road leading to the house is a quiet, private, local route that takes you through two tunnels and past some waterfalls, adding to the charm and excitement of the place. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. Veronica is an amazing host—very responsive and always helpful. We definitely recommend this place for a stay!

Beautiful house! Amazing host, Paula makes sure everything is great. She even dropped by in the evening to bring new sheets when our baby threw up on our bed. Too sweet. Also the communication with her was the best ever. Big pool, great garden to have morning coffee in the sun, lovely village on walking distance. Good to know that the water pressure of the showers are a bit low, we were able to get a good shower anyway. Paula is super flexible, we were allowed to stay in the house until our flight left that day because there was not a guest coming that day or the next. All in all we would recommend Paula’s place 1000%.

This was an exceptional villa and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The outside area is second to none with the most beautiful views. The sitting areas are varied and very comfortable indeed. We had a wonderful break there for three weeks. Filomena was extremely responsive and helpful in the run up to, as well as during our stay. The villa is ideally located with just one steep hill to climb and is a 10-15 minute walk from the old town. We would definitely consider rebooking this villa.

This is a fabulous home, in a great location. It was very spacious, both inside and out. The furnishings were lovely and it had everything you could hope for - the pool was great and the view stunning. Bruno and Carla were perfect hosts- very responsive - and we enjoyed meeting Bruno, who provided us with a great intro to the home and the area. Can’t wait to go back!

The house was super - very spacious and clean, beautiful views, and a well stocked kitchen. It is in a private and quiet area. The house keeper was very helpful in setting us up and responding to any questions we had. Highly recommended overall.

What a great weekend getaway we had in this airbnb. First of all, the pool was outstanding and very pleasant to swim after a run in the neighborhood or after a long day on the trails. The house was super clean, with everything you think you would need (spices, kitchenware, even aluminium paper and baking paper). The rooms were very comfortable. When we had issues with the lightswitch and the hot water, Telmo and Mandy’s were quick to answer and were very proactive to resolve the issues so i t would not affect our stay. We recommand this house 100% if you want to explore the northern part of the island !

This was a delightful place to stay. Very private and so many facilities for a small place. Beautiful views, swimming pool and honesty bar. A total hidden gem.

Majoituimme Casa dos Francelhosissa, meitä oli seitsemän aikuista. Tilat olivat erinomaiset. Antonio otti meidät vastaan ystävällisesti, opasti kaiken tarvittavan huvilasta, mutta myös antoi mahtavia vinkkejä Madeiran nähtävyyksistä, kaupoista, ruokailupaikosta ja liikkumisesta. Viikko meni muakavasti huvilassa, jossa on mm. kolme kylpyhuonetta sisällä ja neljäs ulkona. Meitä odotti mm. hedelmävadit, tervetuliasviinit sekä kauniit kukat. Kaikki toimi loistavasti. Ulkoterassi ja uima-allasalueoli todella viihtyisä ja kaunis. Viikon aikana myös grillasimme ulkogrillissä. Huvilan sijainti on loistava, alue on rauhallinen ja näkymä merelle kaunis, kävelimme päivittäin keskustaan. Takaisinpäin otimme usein taksin, nuoriso käveli takaisin ja sai hyötyliikuntaa. Takseja sai keskustasta hyvin, Pingo-kaupan uloskäynnin vieressä niitä odotti aina useita. Bolt toimi hyvin myös. Voimme suositella lämpimästi Casa dos Francelhosta!

Wir haben zu fünft im April 2025 eine wunderbare Woche in Élvios Casa verbracht. Es hat uns allen großartig gefallen! Wir hatten sehr viel Glück mit dem Wetter, so dass wir viel Zeit auf der unglaublichen Terrasse verbringen konnten. Die Aussicht auf das Meer und die Umgebung ist ein Traum. Sogar im geheizten Pool waren wir. Élvio stand uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Er gab uns Tipps für den Supermarkt, Wanderungen, Restaurants etc. Zur Begrüßung fanden wir bereits kühles Bier im Kühlschrank und Obst auf dem Tisch. Die Zimmer sind alle sehr groß und hell. Die Einrichtung ist modern und schlicht. Alles entspricht den Fotos. Mit unserem Mietwagen, den wir einfach vor dem Haus parken konnten, haben wir die Insel erkundet. Madeira ist wunderschön. Wir haben einige Wanderungen gemacht, die einfach nur einmalig waren. Diese Natur auf Madeira, das Grün der Pflanzen, das Blau von Meer und Himmel... einfach unbeschreiblich. Vielen, vielen Dank, Élvio!!!

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Ana hat uns persönlich begrüßt und in Details alles erklärt. Zudem stand für uns in der Wohnung einen Korb mit frischem Obst und die Kekse aus Madeira. Vielen lieben Dank für diese nette Geste! Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und hat eine Kaffeemaschine mit den passenden Kaffeepads. In der Wohnung waren sogar Strandhandtücher da, die wir für unsere Badetage im Meer benutzen konnten. In der Umgebung sind sehr viele tolle Restaurants, die in der Fußweite erreichbar sind. Ein Platz in der Tiefgarage war Gold Wert, weil in der Umgebung freie Parkplätze sehr rar sind. Wir bedanken uns bei Ana für Ihre Gastfreundlichkeit! Wir haben unsere Zeit auf Madeira sehr genossen 😊
